@RandoEFC You’ve put it perfectly. Look at Trent on that second goal and try and tell me it isn’t disgraceful. NONE of the players have stepped up in this period, they’ve collectively bottled the fight. I won’t apologise for being disappointed in them all, because I think the lack of fight has been unforgivable. They’ve let the whole “city won’t drop points now” give them an excuse to let the season fizzle out.

Just to add. Yes, before the season, we would have all said 5th was about where we were hoping for, with a possible top four push. But expectations change throughout the season, and if we were to drop out of the top four due to basically every player losing form all at once, there would be questions to be asked. Not beating Utd despite having that many clear cut chances to score, losing to palace at home, getting schooled by Atalanta in Europe and now losing to Everton when we knew we HAD to win to have any chance of the title. This is a collapse and a half, and regardless of expectations before the season and how it ended up playing out, that is a lot to have to swallow.

And like @Dr. Gonzo has said, I’m finding it hard to have a balanced take on these lot after how this season has sizzled out to nothing. In Klopp’s last season, after all he has given this club.

You’re back the day after a disgraceful derby performance (in which you’ll no doubt have been screaming and ranting about last night) straddling your high horse, yet again. I’m not commenting on your reasons to be away, but done come in here with a cocky attitude against the Liverpool fans who have been here, contributing to the forum through the last few weeks. The likes of me, gonzo & Mel have made plenty of comments, some of them reactionary. Well, I’ll speak for myself on that part, because I know that I let my emotions run away a lot when I watch us play. I won’t, however, apologise or come down from some of the comments I’ve made on particular players not being up to scratch. Nunez has let us down, big time, with his complete lack of finishing ability. We would be in a much better position if he had even a hint of consistency. Diaz has next to no end product for all his efforts, Salah has outright called it a day on this season. And I won’t even start on the defence, and I dare you to try to defend them after the last few weeks. Been fucking woeful. Klopp is on his way out in a few weeks, and THIS is how he goes out. With a squad of playing having dropped off big time. Barely putting in professional performances. It’s been a disgrace from a lot of them.

Tell me it’s not the mini brush between the players on the side line. Please tell me it’s not that. Whoever was the VAR in that game should be shot dead.

Tbf, I thought Diaz was the only one who looked arsed and up for it tonight. Out of the players on the list to sell, he’d be very low down.

This sort of drop off is unacceptable. There’s running out of ideas, and then there is “defending” like they did tonight. Did we win a single fucking header in our own box? Trent didn’t even bother jumping for that second goal and Konate just kicking the ball anywhere for the first. What are those decisions? Mindless, and not the first time we have seen this sort of performance at the back.

Honestly, we’ve been mediocre since the start of the year, but this past month has been a new level of shit for us. I’m fed up of the lot of our team. Save for some of the younger lads and players like Diaz, Endo, MacAllister, the whole lot of them have been a disgrace. Fed up of seeing VanDijk throwing his arms in the air everything we concede, like he’s never at fault for any of them. Konate has dropped off big time the last month or so, and that midfield that starter were useless. Salah looks on his holiday & Nunez has no finishing ability and barely a footballing brain in his skull. Wouldn’t mind seeing a mass clear out, even if it meant a transitional season next year. Think that some of these players aren’t good enough for the first team anymore.

In hindsight, it was way too early. If he had done it at this stage the bounce may have helped. Half of the players won’t give a shit, they’ll be thinking about moving on once he does. The drop in performances since the FA cup game against Utd has been plain unprofessional. We haven’t played great for a few months now, but that was the turning point.

Fuck these players. Seriously, fuck the whole lot of them. That’s how you keep up with Arsenal is it? This is how you play in Klopp’s last few games? They are a joke, the entire lot of them. Hopefully the new boss comes in and cleans up because I’m fed up of the lot of them,

Tbf, the majority of fouls against us tonight have been ridiculously soft. Darwin is great for running around and that, but he is gash in front of goal. We need some seriously changes in the summer because the likes of him will never be prolific.

After what happened last night. Seeing Arsenal put Chelsea to the sword you would expect us to come out fighting in this game. Cause you know that Everton are going to run out the gates playing at home. We haven’t matched them whatsoever and it’s embarrassing. The players have been a mess this first 30 minutes.

Some of the football they play is incredible to be fair. Though, Chelsea have been fucking godawful as per usual. We can’t let it come down to fucking goal difference, surely?
