  1. The Last Duel - 7.5/10 Absurdly mental this is a true story.
  2. Signed Derby LB Dylan Williams and Charlton ST Mason Burstow in January. Dylan Williams joins are U23s and Mason Burstow rejoins Charlton for the rest of the season.
  3. They called Native American's Indians because they thought they were in India.
  4. You can assume Lampard will do everything to encourage DCL to stay.
  5. They bid 35 million at the time if I recall (January 2019). Club feared another KDB/Salah scenario more than anything. CHO was also a lot more electric at the time. His Achilles rapture made him a lot slower.
  6. *Statute of limitations * Imagine blatantly cheating and your defense is “You didn’t catch us in time”.
  7. I’m done talking about Willian. A player we should’ve fucked off years ago. That’s all I say on the matter. Edu has set Arsenal back enormously and looks like he’s at it again.
  8. Lampard loved Barkley so I reckon a loan move happens before deadline. For the sake of his career he needs to accept a wage cut.
  9. Tuchel retains the full support of Marina Granovskaia and he support Chelsea unconditinally in their transfer policy .The fuss about Tuchel at Chelsea - it seems to be nothing more than a lousy media game (BILD)
  10. Yeah our defensive shape his first season was awful. Kepa highly responsible for a lot of goals as well. The second season was much improved and I believe we either kept a clean sheet or conceded just a goal every game from October until the standard Chelsea "Disaster December".
  11. Lampard really isn't a bad manager. Aside from finishing 4th when the majority didn't predict us to do so, some of the football and performances we played under him were astounding. We've gotten results against Liverpool, United, City, Spurs, etc playing some great football and the best thing about it was Lampard introducing and trusting our youth players, along with improving several others. He has blatant weaknesses regarding how he approaches games and his tactical set up, but the potential is there. That's the key thing. People want to talk about the state he left us in, but better managers than Lampard were not able to cope with the pressure of being a manager here. Conte, Mourinho, Sarri, Ancelotti, have shown they didn't have the slightest fucking idea what to do when the pressure mounted up. As I mentioned previously, Everton need someone who can win the fans/players immediately and instill his ideas quickly. I think Lampard is someone Everton can build to trust, starting with avoiding relegation.
  12. Can't see Ruben leaving personally. We are still in every competition + club world cup so we will be needing all the depth we can muster. Barkley really the only one I can see leaving.
  13. Just realised he relegated 1860 Munich to the third division. So scrap the 3% with a big zero.
  14. Top 4 race literally came down to a matter of games his first season with us. Also, It isn’t as if Everton have relegation level players. There are players to work with and Lampard has a track record of improving players. I can’t agree with your assessment personally. His signing has new manager bounce more so dog fight.
  15. Because Lampard was and still isn’t ready to take on a job of that magnitude. Greater managers than Lampard succumbed to the pressures of being a Chelsea manager. We still finished 4th when no one expected him to and made it to the FA Cup final and arguably should’ve won had Kovacic not wrongly been sent off. This alone shows the potential he has and if Everton are willing to give him time in the same manner ala Arteta and Arsenal I cannot see how Perriera would be a better alternative.
  16. Whilst spending only 3% of his managerial career managing in one of Europe’s Top 5 leagues and relegating said club.
  17. Meant sacked by Fenerbache. His track record hardly screams premier league survival.
  18. It is a risk but surely Lampard is more knowledgeable since the last time he's managed and surely he's better than a bloke who relegated Fenerbache? Lampard knows the league, will get his ideas across relatively quicker and heavily utilises youth players. I think he can win the players and fans immediately.
  19. Should just take the risk on Lampard as despite his flaws, he knows the league. Also worth noting that despite his constant formation and tactical changes during his spell with us, I thought we kept our shape well when setting up conservatively and playing on the counter. I think he can ensure Everton's survival and they can build on for next season.
  20. Not sure. Only known singing bonuses I know for CBs are Silva and Boateng who both earned the region of £1 & 1.5 million.
