Bran the spastic

New contract for Giroud. Here till 2020. Much like David Luiz, good move. However, if both are starters, we are guaranteed finishing 6th.

Me too. Fairly certain Martin wanted to tie this with the prince that was promised prophecy, but the directors went another route and only made it become the domino effect to Dany's madness. Still, I like how they ended it. (still overjoyed he didn't die) The whole point of Jon going back to the Night's Watch was the symbolism. Jon, in every sense, is the protector of the realm. The only real threat now is the monsters that lie behind the wall. What gave Jon purpose was serving, and Bran knew that when he sent him back there.

Yeah think we got screwed they only wanted 6 episodes. 3 more seasons would of had everything tied in. The NightKing should of been more powerful and the Golden company shouln't of been a bunch of vaginas. That said, I still appreciate it for what they did with the episodes that were given. I'd say 7/10 for me.

Think we are expecting the ban. Looking to improve Reece James contract to 4 years. Brilliant if true.

Thought Jon would be done for to be honest. Still trying to figure out why Drogon didn't burn him alive. Has to be a Targaryan thing. Nonetheless, a season that was blatantly rushed which accumulated plot holes and a disservice to certain characters, I thought the finale was very much satisfying. All of this ties down to the vision Dany had back in season 2 or 3, where she approaches the throne covered in snow, unable to touch it.

The difference is that The Iron fleet were expecting them. Dany and her Dragons weren't expecting a giant fleet to be behind a giant rock not even in their line of sight. Is that really so impossible to grasp as being a possibility? They were caught by surprise? This is a show with zombies and Dragons, and you want to question the physics behind a spear being shot from a ship bobbing up a down hitting a fast moving target? Come on mate. I'm not allowed to like the season? There are true criticisms of the season, but that scene isn't one of them for me. I'll tell you one thing, if Arya ends up killing Dany, I will be on board to sign that petition for the sheer disservice they did to Jon this entire season.
-
Maybe because the fleet were behind a giant fucking rock? Were Dany and co supposed to expect a random surprise fleet behind that as well? Mad how you defend those scenarios I brought up, but can't completely grasp this explanation. The criticism I agree with is that the season does feel rushed, which does a disservice to some elements. But when people are criticising fucking battle tactics and how these legendary thinkers would never be caught out, despite it happening over and over from season 1 to now, is embarrassing.

Where exactly is the difference? Why did the greatest warrior of Westeros let his guard down against the Mountain? Why did Robb Stark, a proven war commander, let a woman he just met have his guard down? You are criticising a scene that is entirely plausible. Dany, Tyrion, and Vary's letting their guard down....because they were heading home? Why would they expect a random fleet at Dragonstone? Not even taking into consideration Cercei did nothing in the armistice meeting? It's nitpicking.
-
Cercei did nothing during the armistice meeting, so the possibility of 'having their guard down' is highly probable. People acting genuinely shocked that Dany, Tyrion, and Varys didn't 'know better' when heading to Dragonstone, are downright nitpicking. Why didn't Robert Baratheon question that all of his legitimate children have blonde hair? How did Khal Drogo, the greatest warrior of Essos, die of a small wound? Why did Robb, who has won every major battle and had great character, allowed a woman he just met to have his guard down and completely forget about the war? Why did Jaqen H'ghar, a master of manipulation, assassination, and disguise, get captured by low Lannister guards? Why didn't Stannis, the greatest naval commander in Westeros, lead the battle of Blackwater? Why did Prince Oberyn, arguably the greatest fighter in Westeros, let his guard down and not finish off the Mountain? These are just a small handful of the numerous mistakes found in seasons 1-4. So to actually criticise a scene, that is entirely plausible, screams of nitpicking.

Why are people cricising the scene where Dany and her fleet were attacked by Euron? DId they expect Dany to know that on her way back to Dragonstone, Euron was setting up a surprise attack?

Yup. Not to worry. We raised 4 million to fight against anti semitism though. Couldn't possibly wait until the summer. Had to be done now. Days before a European final.
-
No money. It was a charity event to fight against anti semitism. Roman organised it. Bruce Buck has stated recently that we are trying to expand in the American market. This game was part of it, as well as purchasing Pulisic, where he on record stated his purchase was purely marketing reasons.

Two years now it's been down to his tactical decisions that have had Barca completely bottle it. Instead of taking the initiative and commiting to Barca's strengths, he's reactive and focuses far too much on a defensive midfield structure. Barca aren't going to win the CL with Valverde focusing too much on a defensive set up and relying soely on Messi at the other end.
-
This just in. Barcelona will not being winning the Champions League next season 100%.

Yes. Hazard - 19 goals, 15 assists Giroud - 12 goals, 4 assists Pedro - 12 goals, 2 assists Ruben - 10 goals, 2 assists Willian - 6 goals, 6 assists We are genuinley Wolves/Leicester/Everton without him.

It isn’t incompetence anymore. It’s pure treason.

Disagree. It's been long in the making and she is exactly like her father. She's either murdered or dehumanised anyone who didn't fall at her feet, and it was ultimately paranoia that turns her over. Much like her father. So yes, she has showed signs in the past. In some instances, it was either Jorah or Tyrion that prevented her from going all out mad. Which had some of the viewers think she wasn't like her father. "Others may not display madness when they are younger but can develop it as the years go by, especially when circumstances encourage it," https://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Targaryen_madness 1. Coming to Westeros and not being loved the way she had been in Essos 2. Losing her favorite Dragon as a result of helping Jon instead of taking the throne 3. Finding out Jon's true identity and realising he has a stronger claim to the throne. Something she's fought for all her life. 4. Losing Jorah 5. Losing another Dragon 6. Losing Missandei 7. And the tip of the iceberg, seeing Jon being loved by his people the way she was loved in Essos. This ultimately started her paranoia. Thinking if they were to find out his identity,, they would back him over her. This only increased it when she found out Vary's was plotting against her for Jon. Bit long I know, but her drive to madness really is something I feel D&D actually got right this season. Her whole character arc is duality, which plays with the coin metaphor.

"As the same goes, "every time a Targaryen is born, the gods flip a coin". They must have dropped the one for King Aerys. For at first, he seemed to have dodged the family madness. But as he grew older, he began to see conspiritors everywhere and where there none he worked to create them. "
