I can never understand which is sadder, the losers who spend time putting this kind of bollocks out there or the fools that seem to eat this kind of shite up?
-
You know what they say about a fool and his money?

Dream on John.
-
By the sound of them I think they have started that already.

I suspect he's just recycling bullshit he's gathered from other boneheads on the internet.

Tommy Smith said it best, if Everton's support is all from Liverpool how come it takes an hour getting through the tunnel after Everton's home games. Look you boyo.

Be fair, it's not every young lad gets the opportunity to join a club with such a fantastic European pedigree. -
That's sad. The rumours were flying around a couple of weeks ago that she had passed away. I can only imagine how Jurgen feels not being able to fly home. Both my parents passed away from dementia within two years of each other, I flew back 5 times in those two years, I can't imagine how hard it would have been if I couldn't have travelled.
-
I'd be inclined to agree, the only way I wouldn't play them would be if there was a chance that they would aggravate an injury. Massive game for sure, it's just that we really couldn't handle another long term injury with so many games still to play.
-
You never wan't to rush players back but even if Mane and Fab are 80% we need them for Sunday.
-
Must run in the family mate.

Kinda funny watching Storts and Happy Blue yucking it up together. WUMs of a feather
-
My heart bleeds mate, imagine missing a couple of key players and only having a few hundred million's worth of the Sheiks subs sitting on the bench.
-
I had a 12 year old paperboy, he thought everyone over the age of 30 was senile, he knew everything about football too. Come to think of it, did you ever have a paper round in Bootle Storts?
-
With everyone fit Matip would be an automatic first choice for us, so I'm really not sure why you used him as an example here? He's hardly comparable with some of the injuries to squad players elsewhere or the likes of Sterling missing an international for a minor injury. I'm not saying we have had more injuries than anyone else, I'm saying that the amount combined with the fact that these injuries to key players are imho unprecedented. Anyway this is really wearing thin, I think that anyone without an agenda would admit that our situation is somewhat unique , imagine a script that called for all three CB's out for almost an entire season then the midfield players drafted in get injured too. I honestly haven't seen that before and I think any honest person hasn't seen it to that extent elsewhere either. Thanks for rethinking the WUM accusation though, Id hate to think it was because I was new here and not a well established regular poster on here.
-
The WUM here was actually Happy Blue who came to a Liverpool thread and posted about Liverpool being "one season wonders". I'm sure (with you being impartial and all ) he's been accused of being a WUM too? Or are the WUM's on here just newcomers? Storts, another WUM, wasn't he posting about the greatest French midfield player of all time just a week ago? I'm noticing a pattern here. Look again, it was downplayed. "Every club has them" "The vast majority" of clubs have them. Look Stan, I'm not trying to wind anyone up. I wasn't suggesting no other club has ever had multiple injuries, I was stating that this situation that Liverpool have found themselves is unprecedented. The amount of injuries, the length and severity of the injuries to this many key players hasn't happened to the vast majority of clubs at all. You only have to do a quick search to see that when other clubs have been hit it's usually been two or three key players (at the most) not 6 and they have rarely been as long term. Downplaying this injury crisis is nothing new, you see it all the time elsewhere, Christ even Mourinho was at it, did you see his list of injuries that he claimed were as bad as ours? talk about scraping the barrel with squad and youth players being compared with the key players out for us. Once again, I wasn't trying to wind up anyone, but if you are seriously concerned about WUMs on here you might want to nip them in the bud, even if it's a long time contributor on here doing the winding up.
-
I take it you won't have any problems pointing out the prolonged injuries to as many key players for you or City then Storts, right? And don't pull a Mourinho, he claimed to have as many injuries as us the other week...............it turned out he was including a programme seller and a couple of old dears working in the cafeteria.
-
One of us is trolling mate and it aint me. Honestly when did City ever have as many long term injuries to as many key players at the same time. We both know that it hasn't happened. Everyone get's injuries, but most clubs don't have some oil rich sugar daddy that City have.
-
Hardly mate, you had Kompany out but you have never had to deal with the sheer amount of injuries to key players at the same time that we have, I don't recall any side being hit as hard as we have been this season. We get VVD, Gomez, Matip, Fabinho, Jota, Alison, Keita and Mane back (and they are just the ones out today) and its last season all over again for City.
-
Enjoy it while you can mate, we both know that head to head both at full strength City would be struggling to stay anywhere close to us just like last season.
-
He has been nothing short of spectacular at CB, if we are going to retain the title though we need him back where he is best though in midfield.
-
I wasn't suggesting Kelly was, I was just comparing the circumstances. I wasn't the only one who had high hopes for Kelly, I loved the way he would bomb forward, pity he had such fragile hamstrings. He wouldn't have fitted in today mind, what with Robbo and Trent.
-
Not as skilled but the circumstances remind me of Martin Kelly, I really had high hopes before he got hammered with injuries too.
-
In all honesty I hadn't seen much of him, I did the Youtube searches last night, I know they can be misleading but it looks like he has got a lot to offer. We have all discussed who (when fit) should partner VVD, Kabak could very well be that player. At first glance a very good bit of business imho.
