Cant agree with that. Arsenal need their defense sorting and a coach that is tactically astute. Then they should push on. Everton however have a sorry defense, an industrious midfield lacking creativity and a very sorry attacking line up. I think Everton need much more work done squad wise than Arsenal. Has Ancelotti ever built a team/squad? I honestly can only remember him stepping into a club that was at the top of their game, bullies of the league? He was great at continuing success at a successful club, but has he got the modern day mentality to build a team that is evidently struggling on all fronts? I'm not so sure. Will be interesting to see how things pan out.

Theres about 2 or 3 kids going. How can we heavy rotate the defence for example? We only have 2 fit CB's in the squad. How can we heavily rotate the full backs when only Milner deputises in that position? How can we heavily rotate the midfield when Gini and Fabinho are already out? We cant heavily rotate at all, especially with 3 games in 9 days mate. I just think we could really do without it. Fuck the CWC

No mate, the first team play on the 18th and 21st in Qatar and the 26th in the league. That's 3 games in 9 days. Also, we still have 2 games in Qatar whether we lose the first or not. 3rd and 4th place has to be played for. Far far from ideal.

You do realise that boxing day is in 11 days time? We dont play our first game in the CWC until the 18th. That means we have 3 games in 9 days with all the travelling that goes with it. The chances of injuries is definitely higher and we are already light. We aren't saying it's a disaster but come on, it's hardly ideal. People have different views.... opinions hey.

You're not getting me at all Stan All I'm saying is, if it was me, I'd prefer to take the first team squad to Qatar for a warm winter break (which Klopp likes to do because it seems to refresh the players which helps us finish the season strongly) whilst using the 2 games as basically light training sessions whilst rotating all the players. That is how I'd like it to pan out rather than the squad stay in England and play in the League Cup.

Not really. Being the champions of Europe basically makes you world champions anyway. We dont need to beat a second rate South American team for everyone to know we are better than them because, well, we are. Most top teams in Europe are better. It's just a pointless competition as far as I'm concerned that is just a disruption during a domestic league campaign. If they really have to have this competition, do it in pre-season. That would be my suggestion.

I'm hoping the squad/klopp treats the trip to Qatar as a warm weather break and treat the actual games like training sessions. Not arsed about winning it one bit.
