  1. Often 10 men beat 11 so maybe not always a disadvantage though.
  2. Well now, people destroyed Spurs for only drawing against Southampton. Well, our draw now looks very good seeing as Saints are thrashing Brentford 4-1.
  3. For me Chelsea have made a common mistake,,,,,,,,,buying back, it rarely works.
  4. Chelsea didn't score last night, the first was a deflection and the second an own goal. All that dominance and Spurs won it for you. Spurs are by no means out of this.
  5. Pivotal match for Spurs tomorrow, in fact mid season defining even. So far under Conte Spurs haven't won away, all the wins coming at home so, break that trend tomorrow and Spurs should then crack on. My prediction? When Spurs are playing well you have to take them to beat Saints so away win.
  6. Why not? Have you noticed just how dismal his scoring record is against the top teams? One PL goal all season and a lot of sitters missed. Just because he scored 7 against microbes for England doesn't mean to say his form will return for Spurs. He doesn't want to be at Spurs so cash in now before his form gets worse. Less than bang average against the top tier teams. When did he last score against City or Liverpool or Chelsea or on a regular basis? Open your eyes, stop being blinded by favouritism.
  7. I'm happy he didn't come. Firstly he's not worth £40mill and secondly, there's a lot of huff and puff running but not much final result. He misses too much in front of goal.
  8. Methinks Leicester had better bounce back very quickly after the last match. 4-1 for Leicester is a bad score line and they don't need repeats of that. Unless they bounce back a bad run of results might follow.
  9. Tricky match tomorrow Stan, wouldn't like to predict a win either way, feels like a draw. What do you think?
  10. I said when Brendan started for Leicester that the right decision had been made and so it's turned out Stan, what are your realistic hopes for this season? By the way, I'm not anti any other team or their supporters including Arsenal, I'm not that sort of follower.........ok. There'll be no provocation from me.
  11. Thank you Stan. I'm not an ardent football supporter so won't be able to discuss tactics but I may have one or two useful things to say.
  12. Hello all, Chickasaw here, Spurs and a new poster. I'll say straight off that I'm not sure that Spurs have the right coach. I looked at the team sheet last night and frowned. Anyway, it's only half time and we should turn them over at home.
