When I went for a walk today, I stayed on my edge of the sidewalk, and the people came towards me stayed on their edge of the sidewalk. Everyone kept his distance. Pretty funny but good. :D

Guess that's how everyone should do it right now. I also went for a walk and everyone kept some distance but sadly not all people are that way

I think they'll make it even more strict though, as someone people seem to never learn and still gather in groups.

    Which really pisses me off.

Normally it would probably never be a problem to at least go outside by yourself but because of those idiots it will probably happen at one point that everyone has to stay home except for going to work or grocery shopping.

  3. As Tommy said. I wouldn't do it at my age either. It would be completely different if you could do it on your own responsibility but you also endanger other people and so i think that's a pretty bad attitude towards the whole thing. I don't mean that in a bad way, but i still cannot understand it.

Of course you don't want to give up your travels but you are not alone with that either.

Now here's one for a big Aaaah

On 25 March we are due to fly to Las Palmas for our 50th Wedding anniversary holiday and My (and Manuel's and Isuto's) birthday.  We fly out with Easy Jet  (still flying as at now) and Back on 1st April with Jet2 (cancelled all Spain flights today for a period not specified - including Balearics and Canaries)  our hotel is (online) not now taking any bookings for the period we are due to stay there so not sure if they are staying open or not.  Looks as if we might have to stay in miserably cold UK unless we are told otherwise - watch this space...9_9

Seriously, I don't get why you even consider still going there, especially considering your age. No offense, but I really don't understand that.

Felt like I was back at uni today when at work.

A couple months ago at one of our team meetings I suggested we do some pre-Xmas after-hours rent visits to see if we can engage with our tenants who we sometimes can't get hold of during the day in the week or are generally hard to contact. Couple weeks ago we chose this week to do the visits, specifically Tuesday and Thursday. We sent some stuff to Comms team to get some flyers/leaflets made out offering help/financial assistance we can offer etc.

Due to illnesses and personal reasons, they were cancelled on Monday and I sent an e-mail out saying to re-arrange for the same evenings next week instead. Didn't get much uptake on it and there were some tentative responses.

Then one of the team members literally suggests the exact same thing today i.e. next week we should do some visits and use the leaflet campaign and target people before Christmas to prioritise rent etc. She was one of them who said she couldn't do it next week as well so right now I'm so confused. But now she's trying to organise it.

Like being back in uni when you do the work and someone else tries to take credit for it xD

Tbh your idea doesn't sound too well. I really like your colleague's suggestion, though. Hope it all worked out!
