Played 5 minutes this season I think then got injured again. Shame about the injuries because he's a great player on his day. Obviously not contributed as much as we'd hoped when he signed but I don't think he's the failure some will make out. Liverpool's best run post league win was during 21/22 when Thiago and Fabinho were key in midfield.
Shame Matip's time with us ended how it did. One of Klopp's earliest signings and a very good player for us, playing his part alongside Van Dijk in our very best period under Klopp
Yeah, I share the same feelings for both. Really shame that both couldn’t end the season fit, but it’s pretty much summed up their time here. Both quality players, but unfortunately really injury prone.

Aye, that’s that. Can’t see Leeds not scoring another, nevermind Norwich getting three.

Josh Sargent is a bit shite as well.

Angus Gunn is turd
That was some of the most useless goalkeeping I’ve seen in a while
What a start for Leeds. With that keeper, you’d fancy even more. They look on it.

Brighton need to invest well this summer. They’ve let him down not replacing Trossard, Caicedo and MacAllister. I don’t understand why they didn’t invest more last summer when they had Europa as an extra selling point. Injuries have hurt them though, but the fact is that I think they are missing a proper bit of quality in the midfield and up front. Danny Welbeck is good up until a point, but they can do better.

Fingers crossed.

I do wonder, if I wasn't so invested in FPL with friends, how much I'd care about modern day Premier League football. It's incredibly boring seeing the same team win all the time.
I might give Serie A a go at the start of next season, at least that feels like an open field for the first part of the season.
I’m seriously losing patience with it. I’m not even excited to see what our new manager will do, all my enthusiasm has been destroyed by not only us cocking up our title chances, but them lot winning another.
West Ham are going to roll over and take everything City throw at them. It’ll be pathetic.

I hate football. Fuck that club, the players, the fans and the bald cunt manager. Oh, and fuck Porro too.

Romero is a madman.
Shame he was a shithouse minutes earlier.

Was there even an offside check on DeBruyne there? It looked VERY tight. Really poor from Romero to lose a 50/50 with fucking Foden.
Cant see Spurs getting anything now, City will just pass it around them.

It’s not bizarre in the slightest and you of all people should get it. If you winning a pretty meaningless end of season game meant Everton or Man United won the league there’s not a chance you’d want that to happen.
Tribalism is one of the best things about football, without it it’s incredibly dull.
But there is something to play for. Would you bet on Villa to beat a revived Palace? That’s a close bet, and you have Sheffield.
Your team is about as good as Dortmund and look where they are. Plus, we know the CL makes you more attractive to better players.
Fully agree on wanting to lose if it’s a dead rubber, but there’s a lot for spurs to play for here.
-
Any Spurs supporter who wants their team to roll over for City when the top four is still to play for is a fucking idiot.
Tonight is either an absolute arse beating for Spurs, or they nick a jammy win.
-
Well, Spurs needed to win both games regardless whether Villa drew or lost. Still all to play for as you wouldn’t necessarily put money on Villa winning at Palace on the final day.
It was really good game to watch. Hoping the players have plenty left in the tank to send off Jurgen with a win.

If you beat City you’re a point off 4th going into the last game. Don’t roll over just yet.
Villa have palace away on the last day, they could have fucked this if Spurs do something big tomorrow night.
-
Why did it take THAT long to draw a fucking line? Thank Christ the semi-automated offsides are in next season.
-
Don’t like the look of that away kit either. Roma nailed it, I’ll be looking forward to the actual photos because I think they could be special.
-
Yeah both games were a bit of a shit watch, to be honest. Sets the second legs up to be interest, and likely much better games.
-
Lively start from Norwich, not really made any chances yet. Leeds will surely wake up soon.

I feel like people have gone way overboard on their criticism of Liverpool the last few weeks. It was always meant to be a transitional season but the desperation to win the title and more in Klopp's last season has skewed opinions I feel.
I feel like you’re still looking at the season with the same glasses as you had on in August, prior to it starting. Things change, and the team got itself into a position where the title was entirely possible. Getting bombed out of Europe by an inferior team (credit to Atalanta, but we should have been in the final of the cup) then losing at home to palace, being embarrassed by Everton & then giving up two points to West Ham in the space of a fortnight is a total collapse.
The players get credit for the work they put in, but that credit is zapped away quite quickly when you look at the last 6 weeks. It’s not just the results and points dropped, it’s the performances which have been really concerning and at times, downright unprofessional. Some of the defending in the Everton game…fuck me, that was a disgrace. Against your city rivals…that’s not on.

It’s boring as fuck to watch City. Silva was pissed off so hopefully Fulham come out in the second half with a bit more about them.

I wonder if we have a buyback clause on Solanke
I wouldn’t be ecstatic if we brought him back either, tbh. He is definitely a way better player who left us, but I still don’t think he’s good enough for our level.
-
Shocking effort from Villa over both legs. Losing 6-2 on aggregate.
-
Leverkusen do it again! Equalise in the last few seconds to extend the unbeaten run and send Roma out on their arses. Good riddance.

Pellegrini is a cock.

The right final, all things considered. Norwich going up would have been a travesty, they are WAY off the level needed. The final should be a good watch, and I’ll be backing Leeds to come up. They look the most set to do something in the prem, and they’re an entertaining watch.
