Administrator Stan Posted October 4, 2018 Administrator Posted October 4, 2018 I didn't know whether to go in to a fit of rage due to the stupidity of this absolute berk or go in to a fit of laughter at this moment.

Glad that the PM didn't go, I like her. I think she was saved from the get go given somebody tried to throw her under the bus. That person then tended to point out all negatives without offering solutions. Only time will tell if she thought she was doing it for the best of the group or if she is playing a terrible game. One person I didn't particularly like was a dark haired lady whose name I cannot remember. Every series there's one female who moans loudly and she seems to have taken that role quickly. On the flip side, I'm not sure he's ever watched the apprentice before but the captain for the boys team was brilliant.

If she was your work colleague she would be a miserable and negative dark cloud moaning about everything, if she was your manager she would be an abrupt and rude character youd never please. She stands absolutely zero chance of winning this. On the flip side, what a turn around from the Canadian chick. She had clearly done her research going in to the presentations and her ambition paid dividends. I didn't think the boys character would perform as badly as it did. However all three of them in the board room would have gone if this was mid way through the process. Not an ounce of credibility. No obvious stand outs so far but the first month is usually about separating the shit anyway.

Echoing what @The Palace Fan said its about separating the really shit from the shit for the first few episodes and those that remain afterwards, usually start to show a bit of business acumen and some common sense. Kurran should have walked along with David. I feel like David had much more to offer but it may boil down to has the better business plan. Kurran saying he can't talk and move at the same time is on a par with the guy in the first episode haggling one cent off the wine in the supermarket. As for Khadija, she wouldn't last in a normal work place because of her attitude and treatment of other staff. There'd be reports to HR regularly because of the way she treats people. I hate the cunt.

Administrator Stan Posted October 18, 2018 Administrator Posted October 18, 2018 Catching up on last night's episode. Chilli sauce on a donut?! What the actual fuck are they thinking? Jackie trying to show off with her 'knowledge' in a pitch trying to gain business and getting it shamefully wrong . From high to low within a week. Karan can't pitch at all. Totally awkward and painful to sit through. And that's from behind a TV screen let alone being in the same room as him.
Administrator Stan Posted October 18, 2018 Administrator Posted October 18, 2018 There are so many dullard dumb fucks on this show . They panic like fuck on this task. No-one taking charge on either team and all their donuts look like fucking turds draped in icing.
Administrator Stan Posted October 18, 2018 Administrator Posted October 18, 2018 Thought Camilla was a bit bitchy towards Sabrina, as well. Right from the start she felt like digging her claws in to Sabrina and just kept diggining and jabbing at her, despite when Sabrina was doing what she was told to . Karan is still in this competition. Somehow.
Administrator Stan Posted October 18, 2018 Administrator Posted October 18, 2018 5 minutes ago, Cannabis said: Amazed nobody has brought Karan back into the boardroom, he's 120% going when Lord Sugar gets the opportunity. Camilla wasn't a great PM, lucky that they sold enough to win. Yep. No doubt Camilla would have hauled Sabrina back in as well unnecessarily. Kayode has had a strong start to the 'process'.
Dave Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 This is Kayode's world and we are all living in it.
Administrator Stan Posted October 26, 2018 Administrator Posted October 26, 2018 Alex did well to last this long. Kurran is doing even better to have got this far too doing square root of fuck all.
Administrator Stan Posted October 31, 2018 Administrator Posted October 31, 2018 Decent ending to this week. This is where it gets a bit juicier and the deadwood get whittled down to just 1 or 2. People get a bit bitchier in the boardroom. Should have been a double-firing but somehow one of them convinced Sugar to stay in the competition...

Dave Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 What's everyone's take on the characters half way through? Kayode is the character that stands out but I'm worried his creativity and ideas may let him down. Sian has gone under the radar but overall I think her ideas have been good. Jacqui had a mare this week but has shown promise. Jasmine seems to be a fun vacuum but I think she could turn out good. Kadijah may actually be good but she was on a very week team. Daniel doesn't seem to have any good ideas and I imagine will get exposed. Sabrina seems very excitable and may get exposed later on. Tom speaks well but again hasn't done anything noteworthy. Sarah Ann still hasn't done anything. Camilla has had zero good ideas so far. Kurran may be the worst candidate ever.
Dave Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 If the candidates are this shit next year I'm done. EDIT: Second thoughts after that firing I'm done.
Administrator Stan Posted November 16, 2018 Administrator Posted November 16, 2018 Kayode . Bit devastated he's gone to be honest. Think it was the totally wrong decision but then it goes back to the business plans, where I think Tom's must be better. Taking the task in isolation, Tom nearly shot himself in the foot when he took himself away from the corporate client, the one tht would bring in the most money and the thing he pretty much specialises in (horticulture). Kind of threw Sabrina and Jasmine under the bus considering he took the frontline in discussing what the client's needs were. Should have brought Khadija and Jackie in. He'd have protected himself even more and let them fight it out as they are two very strong personalities.

Negotiated poor deals, didn't really want to get his hands dirty, sulked when he didn't get his way. In the minority but right sacking for me. He had a quality. Other than Sian and Jacqui the rest have shown zero qualities. It's been a tragic series. It's more cringeworthy comedy than a commendable competition.

He sold well in the early tasks, too, when others struggled.
Dave Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 My dad told me this week's episode was really good so I gave it a watch. I couldn't see what the fuss was about. I was preying for a tripple firing when I saw who was up as theyve all been woeful. Sian- looks good in comparison to others. Jacqui - done well again this week. Daniel - Actually did quite well. Kadijah - Shit and aggressive Camilla - Shit. Jasmine - Shit. Tom - Shit. Sabrina - Shit. Sarah Ann - Who?
Administrator Stan Posted November 28, 2018 Administrator Posted November 28, 2018 Jackie was very cunning and sly. Pushed Tom in to being PM when fully knowing he may fail or under-perform. Yet she's top-class at presenting/selling/pitching but didn't put herself forward for it. Very tactical, back-stabbing almost. Tom's time was up though. With a record of 3 PM losses, he was bound to be gone.
Administrator Stan Posted December 9, 2018 Administrator Posted December 9, 2018 Just caught up on Wednesday's episode, the Christmas chocolate brand. Absolute dogshite from Daniel, Camilla and Sarah-Ann. Camilla should have walked for that shambles. How on earth has she got away with that. The concept was shit, let alone the execution of it. So much cringe in their pitches, too, especially with the dancing. Sarah-Ann's own embarassment was not weighing the ingredients before making the sample. Facepalm central, that. Sabrina still finds it difficult to get her voice heard over someone like Sian. Didn't think their brand was that bad and more in line with their concept as opposed to the others. It did look a bit bland though. At least Khadija made a somewhat reasonable standard of chocolate though.
Dave Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 Not the first time Camilla has been accused of degrading women within this process either. Would be gone in three weeks in any other series. Daniel needs to recognise he doesn't know everything. He's gone up against some very weak candidates that are still in this process. Would be gone in 5/6 weeks any other series. Sabrina just constantly sees the negative and criticises everything. Hasn't really done anything. Would be gone in 5/6 weeks any other series. The angry girl I think has just been left in so she can be destroyed in the final. Another one whose had some absolute mares and is lucky the others are so bad. Gone in 4 weeks any other series. Sian is the only one who could hold her own in another series, and even then I don't think she would be a winner. I'm done after this series just because they've been so abysmal. I can't see it improving next series after. It's become cringeworthy comedy instead of an impressive competition.

I watch it more for the entertainment and for the realisation that just because you can have shit ton of money doesn't mean you can have common sense. I think it's between Daniel and Sian for the win. They seem like they can hold their own with their confidence levels and they're quite articulate (Read, they know how to blag well if necessary). Sabrina is a bit wishy-washy and goody-two-shoes. Camilla is the one that gets absolutely ruined in interviews I bet. Khadija will be too argumentative for some of the interviewers and that'll work against her - she may be passionate and determined but that boils over for the most part.
