They won't be missed though, this has been long overdue. Stoke's demise is mainly because they switched from a style that not only worked but flourished in the Premiership. Look around the Premiership now and you see many teams that play with elements of the physical, longball game that Stoke thrived on. Allardyce being one such proponent but even at Manchester United you have a manager quite prepared to lump it and rely on plays height/physical prowess to win games. It's one reason the Premiership is so dull to watch.
