The former Palermo boss guided the Neroverdi to safety this season, but there were concerns his playing style didn’t get the best out of their attacking talent. “After the interview between the Neroverdi directors and Giuseppe Iachini, it was found that there are no longer the conditions to continue the employment relationship with Sassuolo Calcio,” a statement on the Emilian club’s website reads. “The Neroverdi want to express great thanks to Mr. Iachini, who arrived at a time of difficulty for the team and was able to finish the season in the best possible way. “Good luck for the rest of your career, Boss.” Sky Italia reports that Benevento Coach Roberto De Zerbi is likely to replace him.
