Job done as far as he is concerned. Not many people have been linked with the job recently, as McCann looked like he'd be offered the job. Chooses to return to television work with an enhanced reputation.

Has a longer holiday and gets himself and Jack Ross at St Mirren payrises. Not a bad job all round.
