True Blue Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 This was never a 1-2 win chances and performance wise. Foster turned into prime Kahn and had at least four world class saves before we got the second goal. The penalty was debatable by VAR, Jorginho did caught Delofeu but he went up continued his run saw the ball is going away from him and fell again. The ref added five minutes and continued to play deep in the 96th in which funnily Foster almost equalized but was denied by Kepa who made his first save of the game. Very pleased with the performance, even tough Watford is last they are by no means the worst team in the league. Think their form will eventually rise and they will manage to stay alive. Only eleven games in but 4th tied with third and two points of second is more than i could expect. Lampard isn't making a fairy tale, the media branded it as a miracle. I am certain he would use Abraham and Mount in an extent, however Tomori just got fortunate because Luiz wanted out and made the best of it by his brilliant performances. If they keep this up they will probably all keep their places in the team beyond next summer. Next up Ajax home, probably a key fixture for us in Europe as with a win we are almost there.
