I was a wee bit disappointed in it tbh as it was not Grisham at his best and it was a bit long and drawn out but the ending was not that bad.
I actually preferred his early works, The Rain maker and The Street Lawyer.

A new John Grisham novel just bought in Tesco's Camino Winds (2020) for my bedtime read.
How was it John ? A friend handed it in recently but tbh, although I love reading books, I seem to be struggling atm. One of my favourite authors is Stuart McBride (Logan MaCrae novels) but his recent on about an ex Detective Ash Henderson is quite hard to follow. New one coming out end of April by a Glasgow author Alan Park....I've read his first three about detective Harry McCoy (based in 1970's Glasgow)....brilliant mate. They're along the lines of Laidlaw by William McIllvaney (RIP) .

The face mate. Always the face. I once got kicked full pelt in the balls at Uni by some pissed up cunt who was a ‘mate’ of a mate just ‘as a joke’. Took me about 30 minutes to recover and then I proceeded to kick the absolute fucking shite out of him.
Right on mate, right fucking on!!!!!

Lifted a nice £500 with a correct score and goalscorer.

I noticed there is a bookmakers thread and I had a quick look through parts of it so I'm not sure if it covered both football and horse racing. What's the most you've ever won either on one bet or over a period of time ? With Cheltenham Festival starting tomorrow there will be a few quid being punted. The most I've won over the four days was £300 & most I've lost was £200. Regarding football I normally have a set amount to start me off for the season and to use that. Most I've won over one full season was around £300 and most lost was the same.

Aberdeen's Scott Wright has signed a pre contract to join Rangers although they will try to get him to Ibrox this month. Gers are also looking to get Bournemouth pair Jack Simpson & Nnamdi Ofoborh tied up.
Both Wright & Simpson have been signed and have arrived at Ibrox. McCrorie used as part of the deal to get Wright now.
