Some on here think this is Football Manager 2021 on cheat mode... literally anyone will do.

He said last night that he wants a CB but he won't sign just anyone. His words in nutshell.. "if that is what the fans want then im sorry, its on me. I'm not picky but we need the right type of player and its hard to get our type of player, especially now".

It takes all sorts I suppose. I worked/lived there (different parts of London) for 6 years on a more than decent wage and got offered another 3 year contract to stay, which I fundamentally turned down. Couldn't wait to get out of the place. Give me the relaxed luxury life further north over that rat race anyday.

That was basically my point mate. The state of the houses for what you pay is disgusting. The prices you pay for food etc is diabolical. The state of some of the places in London isn't fit for a rat. Then there's the traffic. Totally different set of rules just because it's London. Then you have all the gobshite gangster whonabees with the cringy loud annoying accent... and it's a horrible place to live. So much more value for money and a better standard of life anywhere outside of 1 hour from London. Honestly, I wouldn't live/work there again for any amount of money.

That's because it's London and house prices in London are just stupid. £1m in London would buy you basic in a shithole. Move a 2 hour drive north and it buys you a mansion. Some people will just throw money away for the prestige of living in London. Why anyone would want to live in London is a mystery though? It's horrible.

Albert Square is actually designed based on a real place in Hackney called Fasset Square. Absolute sithole.

Ok regarding the other questions.. No I don't think we will suddenly come out of this slump, we look flat, exhausted and out of ideas. After the next seven games I think we will be below 4th and will have a proper battle on our hands to get back in it. This season could turn out to be a memorable comeback to regain the league or an absolute disaster, is my opinion.

Not again mate surely? This has been discussed about 658 times and each time it's been mostly agreed that we could do with a CB in this window but getting the right one is more difficult than people think. Surely we don't have to go through it all again?

My sentiments exactly! We are going through a rough patch at the moment, what, do we sack Klopp? To be honest though, Chelsea are renowned for sacking managers at the first rocky road so it wouldn't surprise me if Lampard doesn't see the week out.

Yeah it was the same with us when Gerrard was here. The club would identify the targets and then send Gerrard to convince them to sign.

That's assuming Lampard chose all these players?! I've heard Cicero say he did but that's hardly definitive. I'm not sure someone across the Atlantic knows the true facts regarding a club in London... unless he works for them?

But you literally bring it up in every thread mate.I mean, we probably could have a decent discussion about it but it would be pointless as things stand mate. I think everyone would like us to sign a top CB regardless of who is already at the club, but unfortunately it doesn't work like that. Just as we wouldn't sign another top forward if all of jota, Mane, Salah and Firmino got injured at the same time. It just doesn't work like that mate. It's really bad luck to have so many injuries to so many players who play in the same position.. but just going out and buying another isn't the answer.

He was saying the other day (think it was him) that Chelsea need to sign more attacking players. If it wasn't him it was bluewolf?

If you believe that Chelsea don't have enough attacking options... then I think its your marbles you need to be looking for mate.
