  1. New Training faculties to be merged with the youth set-up at Kirkby to bring us in line with some of the best facilities around at a cost of £50m
  2. If the goal wasn't given you'd have been down to 10 men anyway.
  3. Ahhhhh The year we won it. Them were the days
  4. Well he will deny it won't he. But the evidence suggests it's true. Why else would he bench Arsenals best player (by far) in a 6 point game against a direct rival for top 4? I still don't get why Sanchez was seen smirking when Liverpool went 1 and then 2 -0 up though? Had that been a Leicester players caught doing that under Ranieri there would have been hell to pay
  5. Heard a rumour we are going to bid £40m + £0.50p to pair him up with Coutinho, Firmino & Mane
  6. https://metro.co.uk/2017/03/05/arsenal-players-turned-on-alexis-sanchez-after-he-walked-out-of-training-session-ahead-of-liverpool-clash-6489952/ Seems there was more to Sanchez being dropped than Arsenal fans think? Either way, he's gone.
  7. I saw a stat that showed he runs less than any other player in the Premiere League which just enhances how good he actually is. His ability to find space in the box is uncanny and his technique is something else. Gary Neville said the other night that Ibra is literally carrying United this season and I have to say he's not far wrong. Outstanding player.
  8. I've laughed and taken the piss (as you do) about United being sixth but the realisation is that at one point we were 12 points clear of you lot and now you are a game in hand away from going above us. As you say, steady consistency without being brilliant has been the key. I will say though, how wrong was I about Zlatan? Jesus Christ the man is a beast! Makes you wonder where the fuck United would be this season without him?
  9. The thing with Lukaku is that he can be absolutely terrible for a significant run of games, but he still manages to score goals. Every single season he's near the top of the goalscoring charts. Barkley, well, I just don't rate him. He has about 5 good games a season. Never got all the fuss about him and if I was the manager of Everton and got a £20m+ offer for him, I'd snatch their hand off.
  10. Banter aside, he's doing a good job. Steadied the ship after a ropey start and now getting consistant results. As I've said before though, keeping Lukaku is crucial in my opinion as he is basically 75% of their goals.
  11. You don't get spoken to like that down at TFF
  12. Nothing is as good as the United fans bouncing in the stands, celebrating winning the league... just as Sergio Aguero hits the onion bag in injury time to win it for City. The pictures of the United fans faces as it unfolded that were being broadcast live across the world was quite literally 'priceless'.
  13. Only good vibes and memes in here. Liverpool Football Club is a professional association football club based in Liverpool, Merseyside, England. They compete in the Premier League, the top tier of English football. The club has won 5 European Cups, 3 UEFA Cups, 3 UEFA Super Cups, 18 League titles, 7 FA Cups, a record 8 League Cups, and 15 FA Community Shields. The club was founded in 1892 and joined the Football League the following year. The club has played at Anfield since its formation. Liverpool established itself as a major force in both English and European football during the 1970s and 1980s when Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley led the club to 11 League titles and seven European trophies. Under the management of Rafa Benítez and captained by Steven Gerrard Liverpool became European champion for the fifth time, winning the 2005 UEFA Champions League Final against Milan in spite of being 3–0 down at half time. Liverpool was the ninth highest-earning football club in the world for 2014–15, with an annual revenue of €391 million, and the world's eighth most valuable football club in 2016, valued at $1.55 billion. The club holds many long-standing rivalries, most notably the North West Derby against Manchester United and the Merseyside derby with Everton. * All discussion relating to Liverpool that does not warrant it's own thread (i.e. - players signing new contracts, newspaper clippings etc...) should take place here.
