  1. Be almost practically impossible to not go through on 4 points. Already have top 3 place guaranteed, and not sure there's a scenario that if England do finish 3rd they won't finish as the one of the four best 3rd-place teams with the 4 points already on board. In fact it'll be pretty much confirmed England are through even if we do lose, should Albania and Croatia both lose tonight, or Albania win and Croatia win by a big margin. Either of those will be on 4 points too in that scenario and then it goes down to goal difference. If either of those finish in 3rd but less than 4 points, England will be guaranteed to qualify even if finishing 3rd - as Hungary currently occupy one of the best 3rd-place rankings with only 3 points, and one of Albania/Croatia will also be there but on less than 4 too.
  2. Should be able to watch Colombia vs Paraguay tonight. Expecting a Colombia win...
  3. TABLE AFTER ROUND 2 @Viva la FCB just about clings on to top spot but the gap is now reduced to 2 points, as @Dan scored 20 points to climb to 2nd place. Also scoring 20 points was @The Palace Fan who shot up to 8th. But bettering those scores were @LFCMike who propels himself up to 3rd and only 3 points off top spot, and also @Spike who goes from 25th place to 12th place. Fewer shocks than Round 1 led to quite a few perfect scores - @LFCMike, @JoshBRFC, @Devil, @Spike all scoring 3 perfect scores. Particular shout-outs to @JoshBRFC and @OrangeKhrush being the only ones to correctly predict a 1-1 draw between Czech Republic and Georgia, whilst the same goes for @Tommy who correctly guessed Austria's 3-1 victory over Poland. Small margins across the table as only 4 points separate 4th to 12th ,and then 3 points separating 13th to 22nd. A big week like any of those above can make a huge difference...
  4. Kick-off 17.00 (BST) VS Venue - Westfalenstadion, Dortmund
  5. Kick-off 20.00 (BST) VS Venue - RheinEnergieStadion, Cologne
  6. Apparently has a £50m buyout clause in his contract
  7. Coventry getting Rudoni is a decent purchase. Was too good for Huddersfield in that side last season.
  8. Don't know a lot about it but have seen some comments that have definitely aroused suspicion, moreso from the interviews given by his mum and his partner.
  9. That was dire from Scotland. Didn't even look like winning at any stage. Hungary had slightly more chances and quality of them, probably just about deserve the win. Suppose having to rely on Che Adams leading the line for you doesn't give you the best chance at all to progress.
  10. IN THE CONTEXT OF HAVING LESS PRESSURE GOING INTO THIS GAME. Literally all I'm saying.
  11. And this is why you won't see it from my perspective. You've totally ignored what I just said Whether it's a good result or not, I'm saying they had the chance to take 3 points given the performance they put in, regardless of opposition, and that would have put them in a better position going into tonight's game...
  12. I think it should have been. Armstrong plays for it somewhat, but Orban does clatter into the back of his leg.
  13. You're not understanding what I'm saying. Scotland played well vs Switzerland and had their chances to win. It would have been better going into tonight's game if they had 3 points on the board as opposed to 1. As it turns out, they had 1 point going into tonight's game, having to win to give them the best chance to qualify. A draw is not likely to be enough, therefore the pressure mounts and becomes higher that they need to win. To be honest I don't think you'll ever get my perspective so let's leave it there
  14. Same, couldn't work it out. Can only imagine he had a flailing arm or knee hit him on the way down?
  15. Really hope Varga is okay. Looked terrible and they didn't need to close up on him.
  16. I agree? They should be getting 3 points against Hungary. But I didn't say they 'should have' got 3 points vs Switzerland. I was saying that the other day it wasn't a 'great result' to only get a draw. It was 'better' for them to win in their penultimate group game as opposed to leave it til the final group game where the pressure is higher.
