I'd never heard of Andrew Tate until he made a silly video message to Greta thunberg, but I've come to realise quite a few guys I know hold a high opinion of him.
He's seen as an inspirational figure to some groups of men and seems to put forward a strong message of "stop moping, get up off the couch and go to the gym" and he would have people believe he's being persecuted for that, and because he's made money in the porn industry.
But he was charged in June with counts of rape, human trafficking and forming an organised criminal group and will go to trial towards the end of the year. And there are more charges still being investigated including human trafficking of minors which are likely to result in a further round of indictments and legal cases.
Do you like this guy, or hate him, or something in between?

So I'd never watched The Sopranos before. I just finished Season 3 last night. That show is really really good. Probably should have watched this decades ago
I'm doing this with breaking bad at the moment. Just approaching the end of season 3. But I'm only letting myself watch it when on the exercise bike so it's having a good effect at getting me exercising more

Ange Postecoglou is a magician.
Spurs are every Australians second team at the moment.
For me this is what Ange has done at every team he's managed. But I didn't take for granted it would happen here, nor that things would click so quickly...
Either way it's a joy to watch at the moment.

The wheel of Time, season 2. Just dropped on Amazon. Top show

Footballs so financially broken that there's no point ever selling anyone that you don't want to get rid of

I'm sure to have different views on this than others but I hate all penalties for which the punishment does not for the crime. E.g. feather of contact, at the byline half a step inside the 18 yard box should never be a penalty. It's a 1% chance of scoring a goal. Awarding a penalty is gifting a 90% chance of scoring a goal.... Regardless of what the rules say the punishment doesn't fit the crime, so the rules are wrong.
I know it will sound like Liverpool bias but I hate soft penalties no matter which way they go

What is tenuous about Van Dijk's?
He cleaned out Isak when he was through on goal outside the box. Denied a clear goal-scoring opportunity.
Alexander-Arnold's first yellow wasn't one, agreed, even under the new rules referees are employing with regard to dissent/time-wasting etc.
To me it was debatable whether it was a foul at all. The type of incident that sometimes gets a whistle and sometimes not. To go from "ok yes a foul" bypass yellow card and go straight to red is not reasonable imo.
But it will definitely be upheld now he remonstrated so much afterwards.

That's two very tenuous red cards for Liverpool this season. Trent lucky to still be on the pitch. But unlucky to recieve the first yellow card when he was clearly fouled and should've had a free kick rather than a Newcastle throw in. Definitely deserved a yellow for the later pull back though.

I think there's a decent chance Messi plays in the next World Cup. He's still a difference maker at the highest level, in my opinion.
I agree. He's really up to it. Question is whether he'd rather finish on a high.
I'd like to see him play on, and take more of a focus on supporting the team and helping develop the younger players

There's was a lot of talk about Kane saying he had no ambitions.
I have to ask the same about Jordan Pickford.
Why on earth did he chose to stay at Everton? Spurs wanted a keeper. He would have been an obbo choice??
An England no1 shouldn't be playing at a club that isn't constantly in a relegation battle or am I missing something?Ange Postecoglou is a kind of manager that would be looking for a specific type of keeper. I'm not sure Pickford would fit the bill

Often games can come alive when an early goal is scored.
But this game was alive as fuck and kinda died when the goal was scored.

They’ve been atrocious since minute one. Massive gulf in class tonight. England couldn’t even do the basics right.
They looked alot less sharp than they did against Australia. Even just in the first touch bringing down a long pass.

Come on. This great cup needs a great ending
-
I can't see England getting a goal tbh
-
I'm surprised England haven't been more interested in winning set pieces given the height advantage they have
-
Really convincing save though
-
Giving Spain a goal for such a minor incidental infraction is shit. Need more indirect free kicks and less penalties
-
Also dumb that we can predict it 3 mins before it happens
-
VAR is shit. It's sure to pay this as a penalty.

Why isn't Putellas starting?

I feel sorry for the people that haven't watched this world cup. It's been a cracking contest throughout

He seems to appeal to a lot of people that like Jordan Peterson, but he's so massively different from Peterson that it surprises me they seem to have the same audience.
