Not partying(then again I had a good go the other month in Blackpool) but I'd show you up when it came to fishing. Fishing is an old man's sport after all

There used to be a time where I loved birthdays, but not anymore. I hate every birthday that comes around. The next one will be 32, jesus.

Add another 10 years on and you would be closer .
  4. You've got to love Rafa Marquez. What's happening with him anyway? The last I heard, he was being questioned for involvement with Mexican cartels.
  5. That was the moment of the evening though. BANG.
  6. That kick by Saint Preux against Corey Anderson was brutal and very unexpected. He was losing the fight, then boom he just pulled that off and won. That's all it takes in fighting sports. Booom! Goodnight! That's a PROPER knockout. I was surprised about Cody Garbrandt losing. He won the first round comfortably as well. Dillashaw is a great fighter(as shown the other night) but Cody has looked unstoppable in his time in UFC and I thought he would continue that, especially after his first round performance. There has got to be a rematch though surely? It was a fight that was built up for a while. It lived up to the hype, but I feel as though it's a bit from over yet. They have GOT to have a rematch next year. Dillashaw is saying that Garbrandt doesn't deserve a rematch due to his disrespect, but surely that should make you want to have a rematch even more? Fighters these days are too "professional"! Gutted for Bisping, but he was always going to lose unfortunately. He might not be the most skilled fighter of all time, but he's a warrior and a great in UFC. When he retires, he will go down as a legend in the sport and hopefully still be a big part of it with his commentary, etc. I doubt he's got many more fights left either now and that's probably for the best as he has taken ALOT of shots to the head in his career. Good to see GSP back though, he's a fucking monster. I'm also shocked Mickey Gall lost as he's one who looks set for big things and had been dominant in all his fights leading to the other night. He looked up against it from the off the other night. Randy Brown smashed him. It was a great event, even though everyone I wanted to see win ended up losing
  7. La Liga as a whole hasn't been all that great recently and I haven't been impressed by many sides. Barcelona are winning and getting results, but the football isn't always the most convincing, more goals could and should be scored and there is certainly a lot of room for improvements. Atletico are hit and miss. Largely a very dull team though. Real Madrid have been very poor for their high standards thus far. Sevilla and Villarreal are hit and miss. Real Sociedad have been very poor lately after such a solid start. For the squad they have, they are not living up to their hype. Athletic Bilbao have been even worse. Las Palmas aren't living up to their expectation of being a solid mid-table side. Nor are Espanyol and Celta for that matter. The only side who have really impressed me is Valencia.
  8. He belongs to City though which means Barcelona won't be buying him, unless he's got a clause or his contract is nearly up. He would be a good option, although Barcelona need a number 9(unless Suarez has a sudden change in form or Paco can continue to do what he did yesterday) as it's the weakest position on the park currently. The defence is generally fine. A 4th defender is needed, but the attack is the main weakness. Then again Paco deserves more chances(and would be like a new signing in a way since he hadn't been getting them all season), Arnaiz can be called up to the first team and Dembele will be back at Christmas. Right at this moment in time Suarez(not Denis, but the Uruguayan one) needs dropping and after yesterday, I think Paco deserves more chances playing as a centre forward. Messi -- Paco -- Arnaiz The team are getting results, but there needs to be more venom in attack.
  9. The sooner he's back the better, but at the same time, it wouldn't be wise to rush him as rushing him into the team is likely what got him injured in the first place, after he hadn't had a pre-season. When he's back, it's about slowly bleeding him back into the line up for me. As for signings, I reckon Sanabria is the one to look at. It's evident that a striker is needed to give Suarez some competition. I also think he's more suited to Barcelona's system than Paco Alcacer also. Paco does well when he plays down the centre, but the problem is, when he does get chances, it's rarely in this position. Sanabria on the otherhand would be more adaptable to playing anywhere in the front 3 I believe, even though he is more suited to playing down the middle as a number 9 and would be at his strongest in this role. Suarez also needs some competition as well.
  10. Tonight's event is going to be class. Some absolute quality fights on. Bisping vs St Pierre in the main event for the middle weight championship, but also the return of Garbrandt(one of the most exciting fighters in the UFC these days for me) against T.J Dillashaw for the Welterweight title, then some big fights from up and comers, specifically Mickey Gall, who has been impressive so far in his fights. It's a shame Garbrandt got injured as his last fight(which seems like ages ago now!) was a very impressive performance. I've been looking forward to this event for ages and all the fights look to be going as planned that I wanted to see.
  11. In fact, I've just read what Valverde has recently said about Dembele. He is back at the training ground doing some light work, but he still doesn't expect him to be available for selection before Christmas.
  12. Denis is very different and this is why I think they'd be compatible in midfield along with Busquets. I'd like to see that at some point as that could have potential for Barcelona's near future when you bare in mind the ages of the 2 players. They are both at the perfect age now to be holding themselves down a regular spot in the team. Sergi offers plenty and is a very versatile and allrounded midfielder. In the next few years he is only going to get even better. Sergi has been one of the most important players this season and will continue to be so when he's back. So this is a massive loss, but there are players there to get by on with and when he comes back, the side be be refreshed. With this said, when you look at some of the fixtures coming up such as Sevilla at home tonight, Juventus away and Valencia away, it's a terrible time to be losing him. When is Dembele back by the way? Someone of his ability is badly lacking and has been all season. The attack would be awful without Messi. The defence has been solid, I wouldn't swap Ter Stegen for anyone, the midfield has been far better than expected and there are a lot of positives, but the attack, minus Messi, has been awful I'm afraid. The team remain undefeated but could score and do more from an attacking perspective without a doubt.
  13. @Teso dos Bichos Back to Papoose. I always used to listen to this track. Around that time I was always bumping Papoose and his verse on this is just too much:- He took it to another level with that verse. The other version is better though with Raekwon on it, but it's not on youtube. Honestly, there are far too many great rappers/mcs to be making top 10 lists and shit like that. Far too many great ones.

The sad thing is, is that most of them are teens.
  15. Florentino Perez would sack anybody. Being sacked at Real Madrid is certainly one thing I wouldn't hold against a manager to be honest.
  16. Shit news. Sergi has been brilliant this season wherever he has played. One positive to look at is that it now means Semedo(a quality player) will play even more and Denis will get more chances, but it's still a big blow. Then again, I remember when Messi was injured under Enrique and I said at the time that it would be a blessing in disguise since he'd be back for the second half of the season and that was the case. By the time both Dembele and Sergi Roberto are back in the starting line-up, they will freshen the team up. The problem now is if more injuries occur. It's been a solid(although not necessarily brilliant) start to the season and this could end up being costly with some big games coming up.
  17. Suarez and Lewandowski(when not in the form they are now) are closer to Ronaldo's level than Ronaldo is to Messi's, just watch 90 minute games.
  18. How good was Jehst back then though? (his first verse is at 1:42) Kyza and Klashnekoff kill that track as well.
  19. I was just joking with Blake as I posted that video a few times years ago back on the old forum and he got sick of me posting it. Racing fans are great though, just not necessarily the best. Newell's and Rosario Central fans are brilliant also. Most Argentine fans are class in general to be honest.
  20. Yeah that's a beast of an album. Unfortunately Skinnyman seemed to disappear but at one point he was on top of UK Hip hop. I'd stick him in my top 10 just for that album. This was the best tune on the album:- The early to mid 00s for UK hip hop is like what the 90s is for the US. The best album though for me is Phi-Life Cypher - Millennium metaphors. I picked that CD up completely by accident and ended up being a big fan of them despite not many people hearing of them. In fact, the amount of people who I have introduced to Phi-Life cypher is unreal.
  21. I don't know if this is unpopular, but Argentine fans are a level above the rest of the world. Not just River and Boca, but Racing, Newells, San Lorenzo, Independiente, Estudiantes, Rosario Central, etc. Newell's Old Boys: Rosario Central:-
  22. @JOSHBRFC Even though I don't have him as one of my favourites, he is one of them easily when it comes to his old albums, freestyles, cyphers, etc. He's on another level when at his best. @Teso dos Bichos That freestyle is brilliant. I used to listen to Royce quite a bit and I've always rated him so I will check out his new shit. I just don't check much new stuff out at the minute as I've gone back to the 90s(I always end up doing so) and can't get away from it. On another note: Top 10 UK rappers of alltime:- 1. Life 2. Chester P 3. Jehst 4. Ghetts 5. Klashenkoff 6. Akala 7. Lowkey 8. Kyza 9. Devlin 10. Skinnyman Speaking of UK hip hop, this tune defines our hip hop:_ That put uk hip hop on the map. Hard as fuck. There was a period where I didn't even listen to US hip hop for a while as the likes of Klashnekoff, Kyza, Jehst, Phi-Life, Task-Force, etc were on another level at the time. @Danny
