I was heading back from work on Saturday so missed the opening 45 minutes. Seen that we were 2-0 down on the us and then 3-0 when i came home. Obviously the defence was again poor but we did create a few good chances apart from the goal. Brighton deserved the win but the scoreline was a bit too high overall. Quite a few big tests before the World Cup we should forget about this game and move on. Also i pray that we abandon the back three as it clearly is not working anymore, not under TT and now under Potter.

The performance wasn't bad and we created enough to score more. As we failed we got punished, and we are still a defensive mess. I like the formation with a bit of more midfielders, i would rather we switch back to a 433 but Graham should find the best option for us. Good performance by Mason probably his only second this season, he needs to bounce back soon. We now have a break of over 2 weeks and time to adjust to a new system and hopefully we play good against Palace when we return.

Jorginho again out of his depth he is shocking. On the other hand Ruben was again one of our best players on the pitch it is easy to see why he starts even at right back. I'd start him and Mateo in the next as the midfield pair with James on the right and get Ben back in. Cucurella didn't perform well in the last two but can't deny the man has an eye for an assist. Still early days obviously but not good to drop Ben from every game. EDIT: Mason and Kai were absolutely shocking in the opening four games. Expected it from kai but not from Mason.
