In terms of providing additional 'hope', there is also suggestion/speculation that having passed common colds caused by certain coronaviruses different from SARS-CoV-2 may offer partial immunity to some extent as it has been reported the existence of SARS-CoV-2-reactive CD4+ T cells among individuals not exposed to COVID-19. https://www.cell.com/cell/fulltext/S0092-8674(20)30610-3

Is Boris going to compromise with ERG in terms of conditions of lockdown in a trade-off with the stance with negotiations with EU or he does not need that given favourable parliamentary arithmetic?

In general, the family of Coronaviruses mutate/evolve slower than influenza. That said SARS-CoV-2 is new, we don't fully know it and we can only assume it is going to behave following that pattern. It seems to be somewhat better at propagating than common influenza (2x?), which is no slouch in that regard. There is no immunity. Vaccines and antivirals do not work with SARS-CoV-2 (if laboratories had kept onto researching on the 2003 SARS virus and produced a vaccine the latter MAY have worked to some extent, but as it was the epidemic was contained investigation stopped, sad). So we've got to wait for a vaccine for quite a bit of time. The death rate is reportedly between 4 and 50 times higher, but we need to take this with a grain of salt as the amount of unreported cases (many of them asymptomatic) may be huge (thus considerably lowering the death rate, possibly one order of magnitude). Hopefully after one, two or three infections, immunity can be acquired passively, and although becoming endemic, the virus may turn to only affect children in a very mild way until they acquire immunity to the virus (and hopefully to similar viruses from the same family).

Not really.

Up to this point the current dengue outbreak looks more worrying in Peru than the coronavirus one.

If we apply Ockham's razor it looks to be bogus. Many people in contact with many different species of living animals (in turn also in contact between them) already makes a strong case for a zoonotic explanation, currents doubts about if it is a snake a bat or whatever notwithstanding.

Crazy idea! How could Xavi leave Qatar for the prospect of working in an authoritarian regime?

She is so full of herself, isn't she? She rejoices at all the wrong things. If this is a winning discourse, the outbidding dynamics between Tories and UKIP/BrexitParty has tilted the UK strongly towards a political landscape where only far right nativism can be competitive.

Sadomaso?

Cancelling A50 and starting negotiations again would be clearly seen as a case of perversion of rules by the EU and EU member states. Surely, the EU would offer the May Deal and refuse to engage into any new negotiation.

Spain is partially MENA, though.
