SKY SOURCES YELLOW STRIP: Maurizio Sarri unlikely to become Chelsea manager amid concerns over previous behaviour. ----------------------------------------------- I told you.... He is a Gobshite!
-
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has "withdrawn" his application for a UK visa, the BBC understands. A source close to the Russian tycoon said his application to extend his investor visa had not been refused or denied, as reported in the press. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Don't say much does our Roman. You wouldnt get fat on, hirings and firings aside, the half a dozen lines he has issued over his 15 years. When he does speak, he tends to get everyones attention and as it was put too me this morning. "This one couldn't have landed with more of a thud at the Home Office"

See, As I said, the weak minded have been tweaked. Come on MadLad, I cant dangle the Carrot n you come running within half hour, that's far too easy

Surly if your Cahill point of order has any weight to it, then blame should be pointed towards the person who named him captain. This past year, while not as bad as you have painted it, is 100% down to the manager. He expected to be given the keys to a war chest of cash after winning the title & allowed to spend it on his ideas. Instead he pouted like a child for the whole season and fueled the media's love of putting us down with story after story of negative waves. Almost 3 weeks since the season ended and no current player has talked up Conte. Today has been a great day for the club. I havent had a Chelsea day like this, probably since Roman first turned up. I think it's very exciting our owner feels burned. Everything he has done in this country since he first came has always been acceptable for the visa laws, yet now it changes. It's the weakness of our country that sees us picking on someone who has invested millions into this country because of alleged offences by the country of his birth. We will see how it turns out, but for me today has been 1000% positive for Chelsea, n tweaked the heart strings of the weakminded who have hoped since Roman turned up that we would crash n burn. Their pain will continue

Chelsea tell Maurizio Sarri they will not pay Napoli release clause Dominic Fifield: Maurizio Sarri and his legal representatives have been left to explore ways to extricate him from the final two years of his Napoli contract as the Italian seeks to end the delay to his prospective appointment at Chelsea The Premier League club have held talks with Sarri, who was replaced by Carlo Ancelotti at Napoli this month, despite Antonio Conte , who expects to be sacked, being in situ. Discussions over a two-year deal with an option for a third season are understood to have progressed well, though Chelsea made it clear they would not meet the £7m release clause in Sarri’s contract, which was not terminated when Napoli appointed his successor. That clause expires at midnight on Thursday but, once that deadline passes, the fee to secure Sarri will have to be determined via negotiation. With relations between the Napoli owner, Aurelio de Laurentiis, and Sarri so fractured, the 59-year-old manager has been left in limbo. Napoli are aggressively seeking hefty compensation and his potential new club are far from inclined to pay In an attempt to shift the impasse Sarri’s lawyers are understood to be scrutinising whether there is a case for constructive dismissal against Napoli and could pursue the issue with Fifa. Chelsea are apparently willing to let them explore that possibility before taking any further action. There is a danger the state of flux could drag on well into next month, adding to the sense of uncertainty at Chelsea, whose ambitious plans to redevelop Stamford Bridge were shelved on Thursday. Conte has been left in the dark but, if sacked, would be due around £9m in compensation to cover the final year of his contract, if he does not find a job in the meantime. Chelsea won the Premier League and FA Cup during his two-year tenure only for relations with the hierarchy to become strained over transfer policy. Chelsea’s recruitment department, overseen by the director Marina Granovskaia, continue to put in place plans for signings. There is interest in Manchester United’s Anthony Martial and Jean Seri at Nice, and Robert Lewandowski’s apparent desire to leave Bayern Munich has been noted with interest. Just as pressing for the club, however, are the futures of players such as Thibaut Courtois, who is entering the final 12 months of his contract, and Eden Hazard, together with the record signing, Álvaro Morata. --------------------------------------------------------- Now this really could get messy.

Jamal Blackman stock suddenly improves better than he could ever have imagined.

The news on Courtois today is roughly a year too late. I would have ditched him when Jose chose him over Big Pete, but would have accepted good money last summer. I know Pete can be prone to the odd mistake these days, but I ask you, has Courtois been as big an upgrade as some would have you believe? It's been an exciting day for our club and my phone has been red hot. Some think the club are trying to scare Hazard into a decision on top of the news his fav player is no longer at Madrid. Who knows? I wonder whats next?

If you know anything about our club you will know we have been failing in attracting serious "Investment" from almost the time we announced that was our favourable route of paying for the new stadium. Investment climate at the moment is the pits, you only have to look at the country’s economy for an idea how things are. Todays news comes as no surprise with some saying this decision was first made in February and obviously they decided to wait till the close season to announce it. Everything is still in place for work to start at any notice including Bates love nest on top of the hotel which has been paid for in full. Forget any bollocks you have read here & elsewhere including the BBC n know nothings

You are very easily pleased. Any manager in charge of my club who failed to fix a goalkeeping problem after 3 years leading to contributing to losing a CL final (plus a major reason you don’t win anything) would get both barrels. To be fair we would have moved him on a long time ago, but I have to say I am most curious to see what happens with the guy who he refers to as the brains in their kushti set-up. If he is the brains, isnt it kinda worrying whats going to be steering your club as Klopp up to now is nothing more than a serial loser? Still, I hear he is good for a sing-song.

Season Over and conformation Liverpool did not improve. Same league position and no Cups brought home to Anfield. Just as I said. Hope its not too painful for you, but look on the bright side. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT WHEN LIVERPOOL FANS HAVE IN HAND WHAT RESIDES UNEMPLOYED BETWEEN THEIR LEGS THINKING OF KEVIN KENNY & SLIPPYG, IT WOULD BE A MOHAMMAD WHO WOULD HAVE YOU REACHING FOR THE TISSUES @LFCMadLad

With Romans new visa under pressure, are we worried at all? It was invest 2 million into Britain and you got the Golden Visa for 3 n half years. Surly He has done more than that each year he has been here? Maybe his mind is concentrating on this Visa over other pressing matters?

Media outlets are latching onto quotes from a Chelsea Insider who has poured ice on the story of Willian leaving for Manchester United. “Willian loves Chelsea. The club means so much to him. “It’s not even that he loves life in London. It’s Chelsea. “He was on his way to Tottenham and did a U-turn to sign for Chelsea after all.” Probably has about as much weight behind it as a anorexic Model, but it does paint a more common picture of Willian since his move to Chelsea. As much as I stand up for the bloke, a straight swap for Martial catches ones imagination. That seems more likely than the story of Lewandowski joining? --------------------- Quotes taken from WestLondonSport media outlet

Sky Sports Yellow Strip Breaking News 10am: Sky Sports News Understands Willian wants to leave Chelsea if Antonio Conte remains manager. Sky Sources: Manchester United interested in signing Willian from Chelsea this summer. Thats like er, conformation of the buzz around Wembley Saturday.

Hmmm, Ok

Yep, You are right Spike, but at least you managed to work out the two I was referring too.

Numerous players after the game were given the opportunity to say they wanted the manager to stay or at least talk up his time at the club. I didnt hear or read anyone one them gave him their backing\thanks n hopes for the future. The buzz about yesterday was both Brazilians have told the club they would like to move on if Conte stays. The game was terrible, pretty much exactly how we win most of our cups. Hazard showed again just how much better he is than every other player in this country. Understand why Jones wasnt sent off, but the hand ball? wow. Strange manager was back to his antics on the touchline, something thats been missing for most of the season. My thoughts on United was their performance reminded me of Man City's in the final against Wigan and we should all remember what happened to their manager soon after. Happy to win the FA Cup again and thankful for the money gained from my bookmaker. Season over, decision to be made on weather to watch World Cup?
-
Willian: Now you know why Willian got players player of the year. Isaac Christie-Davis : I have seen him play approx 50 times. He plays in a position in which we have 3-5 his age as good or better & younger players already playing to his standard. It was announced back in early March he wouldnt be kept on & has had a number of trials with others without being offered terms before this Liverpool news. We can't keep everyone & as others have proved, we can make a mistake or two, although they stand out far more on all the decisions we make right. I wish him well & hope he makes it with this wonderful opportunity.

How so?

Me tinks without Lee Bowyer's interview, Jay Dasilva would never have been mentioned in this thread these past couple of days.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Fabregas explained: 'We are taking more chances because we are winning, and that's the most important [thing]. 'I think defensively as well, we have been keeping clean-sheets. 'But the biggest regret this season, it's been up front, not taking our chances. We have had many, many chances to score in games, to win games that we didn't win. 'We could have won more if we had been more clinical and that's been our weakest point this season.' Fabregas has scored twice in 31 PL appearances this season, adding four assists. --------------------------- Interesting our players, like our current manager are openly offering the reason for our poor season. However, unlike the media who are catching straight onto the decision to allow Costa to leave, those affiliated to the club are stopping shot of naming his departure. Come the departure of the manager & the safety of being with their World Cup squads I am sure the players will pinpoint Costa's departure. We will see.
