  1. I think Drogba's interview with the BBC is more than slightly illuminating on a future signing
  2. Talksport would be extremely low in a reliable table of media outlets. It caters for the weak minded during the day and morons at night. Just above Marca in the reliability table I would say.
  3. Surly the Costa news is very old news? Soon after the summer window closed he told Ramos while on International duty that he had wanted to return to Spain, but Chelsea refused to allow him. The media got a hold of the story through Ramos. I have no doubt if the Chinese money reappears at the end of the season he will be off and to be frank, how can the club stand in the way of a guy with the opportunity to earn so much money? Thank him for the games he choose to play in and wish him well.... It's that simple. On Lukaku I concur with others here.... I am not sure on him. I think he is a better player than the one who left for Everton and he would benefit from having better players around him at Stamford Bridge. As I understand it, Lukaku is confident he will be at Chelsea next season. With the sell on percentage Chelsea own on him on any deal leaving Everton, one would imagine the club would be looking a net spend of about 50M. Id like to know where our manager has been to watch football over the past few days as well as future international games?
  4. So there's a suprize, Mercedes over half a second faster. Another waste of time season ahead Haha
  5. Huge fan of the show, however, this seasons introduction of Negan has spoilt most of my enjoyment. Too think 2 major very likeable people in the show were killed off as an introduction for the mini Everyone loves Raymond brother lookalike. One hope the closing episodes to this season recover some of the millions of viewers lost because of the laughable casting of Negan.
  6. I am sorry, I do not waste my time on media\internet bullshit stories. If you want to hold that myth to your heart all power to you. For me it's total bollocks opinion from fans who know very little about the game. There is no positive proof he wasnt injured and professional players are told if they feel a problem to inform the sideline so he does not make it worse. Everybody knew last season he was carrying injuries from soon after the season started. He should have been rested, but the manager kept putting him in. Our last game at West Ham, Eden did the same, walked off pointing to his groin\hamstring ~ Nobody calling him mentally weak then was there. It's that simple.
  7. Yeah I would say that is a very fair comment, however you only have to listen to him to accept he is far more happy with this positioning under Conte. After that great Premier league winning season, teams doubled and trebled up against him and I have always felt that was enough to give him the benefit of the doubt on if was putting it in that season or not. For him to continually bring up the being pinned out wide during that 15-16 season, when interviewed this, while a direct illumination of the previous managers preference, I think he genuinely wants people to know he was trying last season, just played to instruction and was snuffed out by oppositions expecting him to do the same each week. Word is after Jose was sacked Eden sent him a text to say sorry and point out he wasnt a Machine.
  8. Well Robben was touched up by Madrid to get him out of Chelsea. Something we are lead to believe they have done to Eden. The only difference is, Eden has not given them the Green light, where Robben waited till the Chelsea squad touched down in America to drop his bombshell of wanting to move on to the waiting Spanish press. I humble suggest your harsh words are pointed in the wrong direction.
  9. Yes, a much more balanced view from you Cicero. Eden, along with whoever was playing the opposite side of the pitch, having licence to move inside, instead of being pinned to the flank which the previous coach insisted on, has been key to allowing him to flourish into the exciting attacking player he is. If you listen to his interviews, he says as much each time he gets the chance.
  10. That's an interesting point of view. I dont agree with any of it, but it is interesting. I guess you were a huge fan of Robben too?
  11. I remember Joe Cole, with 6 months of the French season to go, being VERY confident where Eden would end up.
  12. Just thought I would ask if Barcelona's big night against PSG reminded any other Chelsea fans of a certain Tom Henning's performance at Stamford Bridge a few years back?
