  1. I am hearing we are nowhere near reaching a deal with Madrid for Morata with the fee they are asking as being in "Cloud Cuckoo land" For the first time the media are reporting our interest in Bayern's Thomas Muller. It's being said he is open to leaving the German club. No word on level of cost, but as I said here a while back, I would be thrilled to see him at Stamford Bridge. With both clubs meeting in Singapore in a few days, would be an ideal time to thrash out a deal. Lastly, while their was no extension on Conte's re-vised contract, the club have been at pains to say this morning that both sides are keen to work on a longer deal. I hope you agree.... sounds strange.
  2. So they have bettered his original contract, moneywise. No extension Point of interest, Are his family still planning to move here, or without the extension, they gonna stay in Italy? The answer to that will give a clear indication if he feels its just this contract then move on. I believe this is a good move by the club.
  3. Yeah I agree with you. However, I am not convinced their new manager believes Aguero is good for him. Sky are becoming like the weather man, giving you all options before telling you.... "told you so" I wonder if this is a smoke screen for the true target?
  4. For some reason Sky have felt the need to break what they call exclusive news Sky Sources: Chelsea have serious & strong interest on signing Sergio Aguero from Manchester City They say, they first heard this from a source over the weekend, but now have had it confirmed from other sources
  5. So Chalobah's replacement signs up within a few days of him leaving. Bakayoko looks to be a good player who is an upgrade on Matic, at least in mobility n having two feet. Although signing someone with a dodgy knee will have us all scratching our heads when he goes down in November clutching it like Winston Bogarde clasping his 5 year contract.
  6. Was worth a smile ~ I couldnt give the stick it deserved to one of our own. Happens to us all
  7. Matic allowed to miss pre-season tour to far East.
  8. Baring in mind Zouma stated he did not want to go on Loan just a few weeks ago, we must think he is being forced to take this proposed loan to Stoke? He now must be thinking its time to move on for good if the manager is bringing in his own selections as in Rudiger.
  9. I am told Chelsea are trying to broker a deal which will send Matic to Juventus and Sandro to Stamford Bridge
  10. Well as I forecast a few weeks ago Chalobah has decided to leave after the club moved to take Bakayoko from Monaco. I have been told the manager informed Nathaniel he was in his plans but could not guarantee the kind of 1st team airtime he wanted. The contract wage offered was less than being reported and the speed of the deal completion has some believing Nathaniel's people had been expecting him leaving. I have no ill feeling towards him and wish him the very best for his career. He like others did everything the club asked of him. As I have stated before, the manager said on the pitch after the game against Sunderland that we needed better players. So we must believe, Nathaniel, like all others who have been allowed to leave so far, have been evaluated by the manager as not good enough. I wonder how his younger brother feels about his future?
  11. Sky Sports Breaking 23:10pm Watford sign Nathaniel Chalobah from Chelsea on 5 year deal
  12. Nathaniel Chalobah to snub new Chelsea terms https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/nathaniel-chalobah-to-snub-new-chelsea-terms-as-watford-hope-to-wrap-up-deal-a3587301.html
  13. Can we please get your opinion straight True Blue ~ You dont think Dave's height and awareness to a ball over him was a weak spot last season?
  14. Can't agree Dave played a flawless season. His lack of height and awareness behind him was exploited first by Stoke at Stamford Bridge and then soon after by Spurs. It was something that wasnt fixed for the rest of the season. Conte worked Moses Dave n Luiz tirelessly from that Stoke game which helped them improve some, but I think we can all agree the signing of Rudiger illuminates the decision making on that defensive weakness in the managers mind. In Dave's favor is he can play a number of different positions. However the news we are being heavily linked with a Real Madrid reserve we have to question Dave and Moses starting positions.
  15. On the face of it, its been a very interesting few days for our club. Obviously the news of our self confessed mad fan of our club since he first saw us play, deciding he better follow his first touch, and ended up in Manchester has had the more weak minded among us crying out that the club, or at least those doing the signing, are showing all the same signs of previous defending Champions windows. For some reason most media outlets, especially the ones that cater for the muppets out there are reporting we matched United's bid. We did not. Unlike United we were not prepared to pay panic money, so our offer never had a chance to be accepted. Chelsea's only bid was one materially lower than MU's, and which everyone knew wouldn't be accepted. For me I have been consistent throughout Lukaku's time away from Chelsea and have never felt he would be right for us or good enough. So I, like most Chelsea fans feel no pain at missing out, but there are questions to be asked in how the club handled the last few days. The bid? Sky n others were openly stating that Chelsea believed Lukaku wanted to join Chelsea n was being prevented in doing so by his agent who stood to earn far more if he signed for United. Word is Lukaku was told by someone representing Chelsea before the end of last season there is a problem, your agent. So this probably explains why there was no movement by Chelsea. I am told that wasnt the only problem. Lukaku has been a Emenalo's choice not Conte's. At no time has Conte asked for Lukaku and the word is he still prefers the two forward players he asked for before coming to the club. So this must raise the question, why make a bid and one less than already on the Everton table? It's as thou the club wanted to out Lukaku so the Chelsea fans could see the truth. I think the truth would have been painted far clearer if we had not made that lesser bid. Lastly, after the news broke yesterday that Costa has told the club he wants to stay, only for the manager to again state he isnt wanted, you have to think the club are still confident of getting, hopefully, Conte's choice. We will see
  16. Its pretty straight forward ~ All the Chelsea love Lukaku is said to have ~ Chelsea just put him all in If he folds, he ends up at United, if he calls he comes home ~ Its that simple. Other than he is about to find out how much control his agent has over him
  17. CHELSEA MATCH LUKAKU BID.........but there is a catch https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/07/07/chelsea-match-manchester-uniteds-offer-romelu-lukaku-leaving/
  18. I have to say its been a most entertaining morning reading the written media and listening to radio stations which cater for our national sport. Most outlets have no idea what is going on at Chelsea and are guessing, making up stories from the manager being livid we are allowing Lukaku to sign elsewhere to listing every big centre forward around as possible signings instead. Then we have to move onto the weak minded Chelsea fans, who, for the most part had added their voice to the "dont want him" band since the rumours of Lukaku's return started to make the airways, suddenly take it personal he is on his way to Jose. Why are we in this position? It's because the manager made public Costa was not in his plans, leaving the club with nowhere to go. So as far as I am concerned, these fingers people want pointed should be pointed towards the guy who cant get the MUCH better centre forward to tow the line under his management. Of course we could fix the Costa problem.... get rid of Conte... Give Costa the pay rise Conte thought he was getting and lose the texting king....Yeah, its that simple. Conte is due to return to work on Monday, Lukaku hasnt signed for anyone yet, I havent changed my mind, I still dont want him to return and I suggest to my fellow Chelsea fans to show a little faith... There are 7 1/2 weeks till the window closes.
  19. I am told Chelsea are still confident of signing Romelu, when we are ready.
  20. Lukaku I want to laugh, I want to jump up n down, I want to say thank fuck for that over n over......... But there's that click of the Chelsea fingers and he will come running haunting my though process. Disappointed for him that he is having to possibly accept sloppy seconds, but best to wait till he signs before we take that deep sigh of relief. I do wish him the very best thou... Proper Chelsea fan
  21. Well I think Jose's point is, Woodward should be doing his job, not gallivanting across the planet to watch a game of Rugby. Maybe your gonna sign Sonny Bill Williams to replace ol Big Nose
