Definitely expected more from you given it was against us too but you were incredibly tame. Probably the easiest game we've had all season without being too harsh.
Not harsh at all, as it was that poor from us really. I don't mind losing to the better team on the day if we actually put some effort in, but yesterday was just laughable really. Two players going for the same ball, conceding when the players on the floor, a counter attack that leads to a goal because our players collided with each other, the list goes on. Either we gave you too much respect or the gameplan was simply 'Sit back and soak up the pressure', which works about 10% of the time. Not that it mattered as we did practically nothing.
Why Bulut persists with a midfield of Siopis, Ralls and Wintle (all work horses but no creativity) is beyond me. We have no clue in midfield what to do with those three. We only looked a little better when Ralls got injured and Rubin Colwill came on, as him and Bowler (the latter for the first half anyway) were the only ones looking capable of doing anything. The fact Alnwick was our MOTM, despite conceding three, says a lot really.
Plymouth away next. Yay.

A group stage exit would be ideal
Nah, be like Argentina at the World Cup.
Have a shock loss, then go on to win it.

Utter. Fucking. Shite.
I know Leeds are the superior team, but bar Bowler, we don't look remotely arsed today. When their first goal comes from comical defending and a player already on the floor, you don't have much hope for this.
We're losing this match today, but let's at least put some fucking effort in.

Nice knowing you all.

I've decided that if Dan 'Fucking Pace Merchant' James scores against us today, I might just set my house on fire with me in it.

It's their 'winter break' they give to teams. Think they've done it for a couple of seasons.
Ah ok. Shows how much I've paid attention.

I've most likely missed something, but why are there big gaps between prem games?
-
This is going to go one of two ways.
Considering how poor we've been, we're either going to get twatted or Leeds continue to shit the bed and we get a result (though last time we were lucky to get anything as Leeds battered us).

Just that all the videos I've seen on Naughty Dog. They all say that ND don't have the capacity to work on more than one game at a time. Maybe by small they meant the number of staff.
Most likely.
I've admittedly only got this on Wiki, but Naughty Dog shows as having 400+, while EA shows as something like 12,000, so you can see the comparison straight away.
As you mentioned, that's more than likely why they can only do one game at a time (which, you could argue, is good as it means everyone is focused on that one game, rather than having multiple games being worked on and stretching teams).

Not an expert on gaming but are Naughty Dog only a small company with a tiny budget? Also do they get money from the last of us series on Sky?
They're not as big as the likes of EA and Activision, but I wouldn't say they're small either. They're part of Sony after they bought them out.
As for budgets, a quick look on Wiki (yes, hate me) shows that Last of Us Part Two cost $220m to develop, and is considered one of the most expensive games made.
For the series, I don't know but seeing as it's their IP, I'd have thought they got money for the rights to it.

Naughty Dog needs news IP. Their old ones are getting rather boring at this point.
Yeah, it seems to be a couple of new games mixed with collections and remasters at present.
I admittedly haven't played Uncharted 4, but my understanding is that it's 100% the final game in the series, so unless they do prequels, I can't see Uncharted coming back.
Last of Us I can see lasting longer, especially with how successful it is at present, though ironically there's more remasters than new games in the series now.
Personly, I'd love to see a new IP similar to Crash, though that's more the kid in me wanting that. If they do a new one, I wouldn't be surprised if it's something similar to Uncharted or Last of Us but with something a little different (ie. both are technically adventure games, though Uncharted is more action and Last of Us is more survival horror).

Very good signing for Hull in fairness.

4-0 Wednesday.
Our strikers take note. That's how you score a goal.

Wednesday playing better of late. But two penalty saves and an own goal make for a crazy half. Would rather had won the league game just before Christmas. Any idea of the attendance ?
Doesn't look that full from what I'm seeing.

40 minutes and we're 3-0 down.
Got to question our formation and line up really. Why are we playing the likes of Rinohmota and Sawyers when we're trying to get rid of them?
Why have we not tried to play some of the youth players in a game like this?
The only minor plus side is that despite the scoreline, we haven't been outplayed and have had chances of our own.
Ah well. The FA Cup is shit anyway.
-
Fantastic. Already 1-0 and we have a pen saved after 4 minutes.
Might as well stop watching now.
EDIT: Another pen to us. It's only been 7 minutes. Robinson took the second one after Wintle had his saved and it has been saved again!!!
Fuck me, so that's 1 goal conceded and 2 missed pens in 8 minutes. We are absolutely shit!!!

Watching the Sunderland vs. Newcastle game, am I the only one a little surprised that they allowed both home kits to be used?
Just thought there'd be a little bit if a clash on the pitch.

Silly season has started on our end with the following.
1. Re-sign Kieffer Moore permanently (according to some, it's apparently a done deal, but we'll wait and see).
2. David Brooks on loan (would be over the moon with this, though can't see it happening myself).
3. Tyler Roberts (not sure if loan or permanent but either way, I might hang myself if this happens. I'm sure @Lucas would be pissing himself laughing).

I'm gobsmacked. He was doing superbly after taking over from the shit Eustace left behind.

They're just down the road. Not far to travel at all.
For us, I expect us to lose in all honesty as we've looked very poor in a lot of our recent matches.
Based on recent form, Rubin Colwill should really be starting now, as he's the only one who looks capable of doing anything. Playing a midfield of Siopis, Ralls and Wintle sets us up to be defensive with no outlet whatsoever.
