Dave Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 RIP. Thoughts go out to his family. He did a very good job as Chairman at Birmingham City. Establishing them as a Premier League club and providing the necessary funding to get them back in to the Premier League at the first time of asking on two seperate occasions. When you consider the dire state they're in now its a good reflection of the work him and Sullivan did along with Brady. I know West Ham fans have had a fractured relationship with there owners, they cannot argue that the club is in a far healthier position because of there owners. The deal they got on the London Stadium has to be one of the best deals in the last 20 years and they have invested heavily in to the playing side regardless of the rhetoric spealed. You could argue with Newcastle and Aston Villa under relativity new ownership that they're the most appealing side to an investor outside of those teams in the greedy six.
