I'm not arsed what Neves or any footballer does with their money or how much of it they have. It's been decades since these numbers progressed beyond the obscene. I just object to the view that I've seen posited all over social media throughout this spate of Saudi transfers by some people who are convinced that just assumes anyone would make the same decision these players are making if they were offered that much of a pay rise because it isn't true. For the record, I don't actually object to the massive wages. There's that much money in football that it might as well go to the workers (players) in that industry.
