That's a shame. We were linked and think he'd have fitted well in our style and shape. I think it's a very good signing for Luton.

Yeah we'd been quite heavily linked. It's a peculiar one because we can probably compete with Luton's wages but then obviously they have the Premier League football.

I like the look of him but I can't help but think he isn't quite the right fit for this system Maresca seems to favour (which is much like the Pep 3-2-4-1 system of last season) - he's very much a wing back and that system doesn't really have any.
