Not sure where to put this or how to put it, but I try.

So in the NFL teams have to publish Injury Report Designations a few days before every game.

Probable – If a player is probable, he is almost definitely playing. ...

Questionable – they don't know for sure ...

Doubtful – A player listed as doubtful is almost definitely not playing. ...

Out – This is as simple as it gets he's out.

If they lie or don't include a player who is injured they are in trouble

Situation in the NFLthis week regarding Joe Burrows the quarterback for Cincinnati.   He's not on the injury list and arrives at the game with his throwing hand bandaged and in a brace. Burrows started the game but left before half time after landing on his hand.  Now Cincinnati is being investigated by the League for not coming clean about his injury and there is also a class action lawsuit by bettors who put money on Cincinnati mainly because of Burrows.

So to finally get to my point or question regarding football or soccer, why aren't soccer teams made to inform the fans about any injuries prior to the game.  It's the only way to create a level playing field for bettors, because if you have inside information that a teams top player or players won't play the next game it gives you a huge advantage when laying a bet.

Probably because the game isn't about bettors and there's a huge drive in the industry, in the UK at least, to stop gambling addiction or do more to try and prevent it.

Hugely hypocritical when it comes to sponsorships given 3 of the top 4 divisions in the country are sponsored by Skybet, and there are so many gambling sites available. But there is more being done bit by bit to help and help people gamble responsibly (removing gambling ads during games for example).

If they made this information available with the main reason to 'aid bettors' then it kind of undoes some or all of that.

If you have inside information about the availability then so be it. It's such a minority across the game you'd think.
