Michael
Real Madrid are leading 3-0 at half-time against Alaves at the Bernabeu thanks to goals from Bellingham, Vinicius Jnr and Valverde. Alaves have had no answers defensively in reply to Real Madrid's quality. Going forward Alaves have created chances with Ianis Hagi their only real bright spark. But with Real Madrid's quality and Bellingham as well as Vinicius Jnr on fire, I think we can expect Real Madrid to add some more goals in the 2nd half. Real Madrid 3-0 Alaves
Michael
It's 0-0 at half-time between Girona and Villarreal, but Girona have been much the better side. Tsygankov, Aleix Garcia and Savio have all played very well, while Dovbyk has battled hard upfront on his own. Girona really need the win if they want to keep their chances of beating Barcelona to that 2nd place position alive. I think that Girona should break the deadlock in the 2nd half, they are bound to up the pressure even further in the 2nd half. Girona 0-0 Villarreal
Michael
Real Madrid ran out 5-0 winners in the end, scoring 2 more goals in the 2nd half through Vinicius Junior and Arda Guler. Real Madrid dominated possession and really gave a 5 star performance at home in the Bernabeu. Although Alaves did create chances, particularly through the energetic Hagi, who forced 3 good saves from Courtois. But ultimately Real Madrid were firing on all cylinders, where Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, Camavinga, Kroos, Valverde and Courtois all gave excellent performances. Real Madrid are playing some of the best football they've played all season and look well prepared for the Champions League Final at Wembley on the 1st of June. Full-Time Score: Real Madrid 5-0 Alaves
Michael
Girona suffered a blow to their ambitions of finishing in 2nd place in the La Liga Table, as they lost at home to Villarreal by a single goal. Villarreal were the better side in the opening quarter of an hour, creating several chances, but then Girona did get into their stride and they started creating chances of their own. Tsygankov had a swerving shot go centimetres past the far post. Dovbyk then forced a save from Villarreal keeper Jorgensen. But it was in the 2nd half that Villarreal were the team to actually break the deadlock, as Bertrand Traore swept the ball home into the far corner of the net, after the ball fell to him in the penalty area. Girona tried to instantly reply, as only moments later, Tsygankov played a one two with Eric Garcia and then unleashed a powerful left footed shot from outside the area that crashed against the underside of the cross-bar. Soon after that, Lopez had a header cleared off the line by a Villarreal defender and then Savio followed up with a powerful shot that flew over the bar. There were further chances for both sides, but ultimately, Villarreal were able to hold on to the valuable win. Full-Time Score: Girona 0-1 Villarreal
