Girona will want to finish the season with a good win today. They've controlled most of the play in the opening 25 minutes but are yet to find the back of the net against Granada.

Real Madrid put out a strong line-up yesterday against Real Betis, but they could only draw 0-0. While Mallorca have just now defeated Getafe 2-1 away from home.

Valencia take the lead away to Celta Vigo! After brilliant work by Correia down the left flank, his cross aimed towards the unmarked Almeida was got to by Celta defender Dominguez first and his attempted clearance ended up as an own goal.

In the other match being played, it's 0-0 at half-time between Las Palmas and Alaves, although Alaves should really be in the lead, as Simeone missed a penalty for Alaves.

Hagi tries to find the winner with a left footed shot from more than 30 meters out, but his powerful effort goes wide of the post. The referee then blows his whistle to call an end to the match as both teams draw 1-1. But Las Palmas keeper kept Las Palmas in the match with his many saves, as Alaves in truth dominated the match.
