Nugent has enjoyed spells in the second tier with Preston, Portsmouth, Leicester City, Middlesbrough and current club Derby County. Rams boss Frank Lampard will reportedly let Nugent leave and Wilder is poised to pounce. @DNA your thoughts? Good enough for your squad? Your other 2 strikers (Sharp and Clarke) aren't getting younger & are over 30 - maybe need someone younger instead?
DNA
Interesting. With Clarke being the main man, I'd rather us sign an 'under-study' type. Although the problem with that is promising youngsters would come at a premium, at this level such a player could only really emerge through the youth setup, which is not unlikely given our track record mind. Sharp is basically Totti here, so I can see him staying.. can still be used effectively from time to time tbf.
