Subscriber nudge+ Posted August 24, 2018 Subscriber Share Posted August 24, 2018 Pretty sure Pizarro skews our age data a bit The market value part says it all, though.

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 24, 2018 Author Subscriber Share Posted August 24, 2018 Why are so Bayern so far ahead in terms of age as well as the average value (which comes as no surprise obviously). Is it because good Bundesliga players don't reach the age of 27+ without either going to Bayern or leaving Germany because they're fed up of losing to Bayern? Most of the best German players are ending up at Bayern or abroad when they're at their prime; so you kind of have a point there. However, I would say that Bayern currently have a sort of an aging "problem" as their "golden generation" is coming to an end, and they'll have to rejuvenate the squad soon... When you look at it, Ribery is 35, Robben is 34, Neuer is 32, while Lewandowski, Müller, Hummels and Boateng are all either already or almost 30 as well.
