Dave
The 22-year-old has scored 11 goals in 13 appearances, which is more than any other player this season. Exactly how long can Brentford keep him?
Administrator Stan Posted November 3, 2018 Administrator Share Posted November 3, 2018 He'll see that Brentford won't amount to much and possibly move in January.
Danny
We'd be crazy to sell him in January, no one is ready to step up at this moment in time and if we are going to mount a promotion bid then we need him otherwise it will completely derail our season. He's contracted for long enough that we don't have to sell, has been involved in 18 goals this season. Absolutely phenomenal. We've not been playing badly, but as a unit we've shopped in a lot of mistakes that have caused us to concede where naturally we shouldn't. Once we're out of this bad run we'll be back to normal form and that's a challenge for and that's a challenge for the play offs, but with the mistakes Bentley has made consistently and some of the defensive errors on top I'm not as confident anymore. First few games we looked slick and class, but now it's turned to being fragile. Either way I can't see why we'd sell Maupay in Jan, no benefit whatsoever and his price won't drop.
