  1. Didnt see our game against Inter, but heard our 'liability' players were in full force. Bakayoko, Alonso, and Drinkwater in particular. Also heard Jorginho looked frustrated from the lack of pressing by some players? Going to watch it then give my take on it
  2. Because she has a face. That's why. She is still a reason as to why our transfer activity has been poor these past few years.
  3. As things stand, don't think we have enough to make top 4. Especially given how other clubs in the top 6th have strengthened. Morata shows no signs of improvement and Giroud isn't good enough to be a regular starter. Great option off the bench. Pedro is a good squad option but not as a starter. Willian's slowing down of play and lack of end product provides no benefit in Sarri's system. Barkley is a risk, Reuben Loftus-Cheek doesn't have the work rate nor end product to start for us, and Fabregas has a good 20 minutes a game before his legs are gone. Really hope the Jorginho signing wasn't a smokescreen for the board to continue behaving the way they've had the past few seasons. 2 weeks left of the window, for things to change.
  4. They finished third and won fuck all the season before Guardiola stepped in. Guardiola changed Messi from a 20 goal a season at best, to 60+ a season.
  5. I'd say Aragones more than anyone. He laid the foundation for both Xavi and Iniesta, which only worked in Pep's favor the season after Euro 2008 Rijkaard left Guardiola a Barca in bad shape. Guardiola practically changed Barca's whole identity, which took balls.
  6. True. They only just won the world cup and European championship on top of 4 champions league titles. Bet they're gutted they never won the CL back to back though.
  7. Special thanks to this man for making it all possible On a serious note, I echo @Danny. Best football of my life time. Revolutionised the game. The 2-6 and 5-0 victory against Real I can watch any day of the week. In my opinion, even though the 09 side and 15' won the treble, the best for me was the 2011 and 2012 team. The football they produced is something we won't ever see again.
  8. Speaking of Eazy - E, the fuck happened to that documentary his daughter was supposed to release? Where it questioned his death? I know bone thugz still think he was murdered.
  9. They lost to West Brom at home because City bought wingbacks.
  10. Kinell, I forgot to add that we got knocked out against a 10 man PSG under Mourinho
  11. Bit rich coming from a bloke who'd gladly have Mourinho shag his missus. You're not fooling anyone Term-X Enough said You do realise your point would be completely invalid if both Ballack and Drogba got their clear penalties awarded during the 2nd leg don't you? But even that is aside the point, we played our best ever football which contributing to us having our best ever season. Since you like throwing out piss poor parallels, here's one for you. How come Ancelotti was able to win the double when we got knocked out the first round of the CL, and beat everyone in the top 4 home and away, yet Mourinho only won the league and league cup in 2015 when we got knocked out in the first round of the CL? Also, how come Ancelotti finished 2nd the season after, and Mourinho 10th?
  12. We at least won't get left behind? I'll sacrifice a season of not winning anything for a top 4 finish and Sarri given enough time to implement his ideas. You seem to forget our most successful season ever came by playing the best football we've ever played. City have built a foundation for success that will carry them forward for years under Guardiola Liverpool and Klopp seem to follow the same path. Spurs will only continue to get stronger under Poch. Arsenal finally had the balls to get rid of Wenger and appoint a manager who is known for implementing good attacking sides. It may have worked in the past, but there is no way we can continue to win silverware with the way we are treating managers. Not with how the other top 6 clubs are run
  13. Fairly certain Liquidator Term-X's greatest fantasy is to have Sarri sacked in November, with Mourinho returning and bringing in his dire and cowardly football that is so outdated, we'd in fact be going backwards whilst the likes of Liverpool, City, Arsenal, and Spurs continue to progress. Thank god he isn't in charge.
  14. We get Golovin, I reckon our midfield of Golovin, Jorginho, and Kante is potentially among one of the best in the league. If we can only sort out our striker and winger situation...
  15. @Dr. Gonzo Jorginho played 45 minutes yesterday in our friendly against Perth. Had a 98% pass succession rate and averaged a pass every 27 seconds
  16. Bakayoko looking to be on loan to Seviilla, to which they will be willing to pay his wages. Happy with that. Needs to work on his technical ability and pace of a top league Drinkwater looks to be staying I reckon,.
  17. @Happy Blue Really like this type of stuff. I know the Spanish National Team had a documentary on their Euro 08 and World Cup win, which was quality as well.
  18. We have a heaping amount of average joe's in the squad. Odoi looked more promising than Musonda, who in all honestly I have completely lost patience for. If he can't get a game for Real Betis or Celtic, there is not much more we can do.
  19. Finished 1-0. First half was great, second half meh. Wasted loads but overall good signs. Emerson nailed on has to start over Alonso. As if we didnt already know. Barkley looked good going forward. Shame about his finishing. Jorginho
  20. Batshuayi will be better suited in this system. Just like at Dortmund
  21. Reckon Sarri will use Odoi as rotation for Hazard. The speed and patterns of passing we are making are great. Jorginho will soon be a personal favorite. Morata still frustrating.
  22. Doubt anyone cares tbh. It's blatantly clear that Klopp isn't perfect, especially after his criticisms a couple years ago stating they lost because of the pitch or some nonsense like that. No manager is and it's funny people are making a big deal out of it.
