Anyone have an extra time bug? Just played a game where there was 3 minutes of extra time, and the ref didn't whistle until the ball was out of play. Literally played about 4 minutes (real time) when it hit extra time.

It's strange and gives some thought of a correlation. He was involved in the day to day operations of the club and I just find it bizarre how as soon as he leaves, Marina Granovskai is then given more influence and power. That was when we started signing the Rahmans, Papy's, Hectors, Pato's, etc. Can't agree with the concept we are on a 'fixed payment', as we are spending money, just not appropriately which is my main gripe. For example, selling Chalobah for absolute peanuts and then buying Drinkwater for 30 million.

Couldn't be arsed to horribly misspell his name. And Alli for me is the type of player that gets into great positions. On a footballing scale, Erikson pisses him.
-
Who the hell did you think Aldi was ?
-
Only players I'd label class at Spurs are Kane, Erikson, and Aldi

Your first paragraph just emphasises the importance of Ron Gourlay. For me, there is no surprise that as soon as he left, our transfer activity has gone to the shitter. And with regards to Mourinho, It's true he suffered the same mistreatment, but unlike Conte, the latter's inevitable sacking will be less down to the manager and more the club. And given how appalling our transfer activity has been since Gourlay has left, just out of curiosity what gives you the sense that we will continue to be successful sacking manager after manager if our recent transfer habits continue? We sack Conte I can honestly see us turning into 2012 Liverpool.

I said this a while back that we are three class signings away from competing on all fronts. A RWB, A CM, and another attacking player. Really irritates me when I see this, next Chelsea manager odds, blasted on every website and news article. Enrique, Emery, Allegri, whoever it is, the inevitable is always the same thing. It's a cycle to which our owner and board are too daft to see what the underlying problem is. For me, our board have a 5 step process. 1. Appoint new manager. 2. Do relatively better the previous season. 3. Make overpriced lackluster signings, ignoring managers requests and implementing an awful transfer strategy. 4. Do relatively worse the previous season and wonder why. 5. Sack manager as he is the only one to blame as we are awesome. Repeat step 1. We should be doing everything we can to keep Conte, as from a coaching perspective, he is the best we've had in a long time.
-
Wouldn't matter who we get, they will get sacked in 2-3 seasons. With every Chelsea manager appointment, it's only fitting a 'is ______ Sacked yet?' Website gets created.
-
Literally won't matter mate. Manager appointed Miraculously win a trophy. Following season, Not fulfill manager needs and restrict him of power. Get rid of youth players and spend shit loads on average players. Wonder why everything went wrong and blame the manager. Sack the manager and repeat.
-
Yeah, he actually looks arsed. Thing is, replacing managers shouldn't be something to be seen as a revamp or a refresh for the club. If we have the same board continuing on with the same transfer methods, there won't be any progression or stability. Especially for our youth players.

Domino effect best to describe our current situation. Whole bunch of mistakes have been made by the board and Conte, but more so the former as day one into the season, we were not prepared. Buying Injured players, buying average players, and not having the squad ready on match days are just a few of the numerous bad decisions we have made this season. Not having the funds is no longer an excuses. The board's handling of transfers have blatantly effected Conte. Just look at him. Tired and disinterested due to his lack of power. Whereas that mentality is reflecting on our players.

Start of the Calcio A 2018/19 season has been great so far. 6 games in and currently sitting 1st on 15 points, with Napoli second on 13. Drew Liverpool, Atletico, and Beskitas in my CL Group. Drew Besiktas 2-2 with a 90th minute equaliser from my star Ricci. Average age of my squad is 20 Amante (68) Biviano (64)---------------------------De Nucci (66) Torreira (80)-------------Alonso (66) Ferrari (66) Saraachi (75)---Ricci (78)---Mammana (78)---Rizzo (64) Viviano (82) Top Scorers Biviano - 4 goals Amante - 3 goals Torreira - 2 goals

Kylian Hazard is quality mate. City will have a good prospect on their hands should this deal go through.

Wasn't a 3-0 performance at all in my opinion, thought we still looked shaky. Drinkwater had a mare and Batshuayi got 2 of the luckiest goals in his career. Alonso will yet again make the headlines with his FK even though he's been a liability for going on 12 months now. On a plus, Ampadu has a ridiculous passing range and Batshuayi looks to be a confidence performing player, as in the 2nd half he looked a different player in general. Need to push towards his loan move and be at a club where he can play regularly. I want to see Hudson Oddoi get more minutes, as he reminds me of Musonda.

Love where he said he wasnt leaving

Finished my first season with Sampdoria. Managed to scrape 4th thankfully due to Roma cocking up so many results. Start of June and I purchased Saraachi and Mammana for a combined 40 million. Amante is doing my head in but I am going to be patient with him. So weak and misses loads of chances. Potential to be 94 rated though. Champions League should be interesting. Amante (66) Biviano (62)---------------------------De Nucci (65) Torreira (79)-------------Alonso (64) Ferrari (64) Saraachi (74)---Ricci (76)---Mammana (78)---Rizzo (63) Viviano (82)

I agree. No way Barca can satisfy all of these players. This Arthur purchase is just overkill
-
Deserves it's own thread

Just finished. Fan fucking tastic
-
Wouldn't even say overthew either. That 2012 season, Barca and Real met 6 times. Barca winning 4 of them and Real only 1. It was Barca that cocked up themselves in the league.
-
You'd think after he won the treble in 2010, all other trophies such as league cups and charity shields would be meaningless. But I guess since Pep and now Conte have continued to spank him over the years, he'll take what he can get.

I'm doing really shitty now as I've had two youth players get 3 month injuries, but now they are fit. Thankfully other clubs are inconsistent as well. It's Feb in my league and i'm sitting 5th. Knocked out of the copa by Bari. (one major gripe is that i'm creating so many chances, but my conversion rate is appalling. Had like 20 attempts, 12 on target, and only scored 1 goal against Bari before they beat me in penalties) Juventus - 61 Inter - 58 Napoli - 58 Roma - 46 Sampdoria 44 Amante (63) Biviano (60)---------------------------De Nucci (63) Torreira (78)-------------Alonso (63) Ferrari (62) Murru (72)---Ricci (74)---Silvestre (75)---Rizzo (62) Viviano (82) After this season, plan on getting Mammana in replace of Silvestre and Saracchi for Murru.

One thing Mourinho has always excelled at, is balance. Matic obviously works better in a midfield three vs. a two, and with this inclusion it allows Pogba to be furthur up the pitch. We are seeing the same indentical issues we did last season. With or without Matic. When teams press us, we struggle. Arsenal, Spurs, and City did it last season, now more and more teams are doing it this season. Not taking a jab, but I feel it's more than coincidence this problem alone had any bearing on Matic, considering even with him, we suffered the very same issue. It's no surprise we are seeing more and more teams press us vs. last season, and it's no surprise Conte now prefers to add 3 midfieldres instead of two in a 3-5-2 to deal with this issue. It was that very reason I laughed at United parking the bus against us, which gave us so much freedom to play our football. (a game where Bakayoko took the piss out of Matic I may add). Conte is as good as gone. He want's more power than the role he currently has, and I can see PSG knocking on his door. Shame really, as without a shadow of a doubt, on a 'coaching' aspect, he's the best we've ever had. If we actually got his targets vs spending shit loads on bang average players, we'd be far better off.
-
We don't have limitations in spending. My main gripe is the fact we are spending shit loads on average players. My Biggest gripe, is why we waited until deadline day to get a wing back. In a system where we are very dependent on them, why did we end up with just Zappacosta and on fucking deadline day? City sorted Walker, Mendy, and Danilo (three wingbacks far superior than Zappacosta) and it was all sorted by July. That is my gripe.
