  1. Signed 16 year old Kendry Paez who looks like a Messi FIFA Regen. Can't join the club until he's 18.
  2. Banned until mid Jan 2024 according to Paul Joyce.
  3. Think it depends how much money we can coup for the players that are leaving. Need to raise around 93m before June 30th according to SwissRamble, which I think is doable. Maatsen could fetch 30-35m from Burnely. There's Kovacic who has interest from City and Bayern. Ziyech, Pulisic, CHO and Reuben Loftus-Cheek. I still wouldn't be surprised if Mount is the first to go, as well as Gallagher. Would be a mistake.
  4. I think both Mount and Gallagher stay. Important to keep some identity after this massive rebuild and its something Poch appreciates. Not to mention both are ideally suited for the football we will likely now play. I think Kante, Ruben and Kovacic leave. As for who comes in, hearing Lavia and Ugarte as options. Doubt we compete for Rice/Caicedo without Champions League football. New Champions League format that goes into place 2024/25 season. The two leagues with the highest ranking coefficients get two additional spots. Right now it is both the Premier League and Serie A, so teams who finish 5th will automatically qualify for the Champions League.
  5. Going to be linked with every Argentine under the sun in the next several weeks. Most important thing right now is to trim off the fat and players Poch doesn't fancy. With only being in one competition next season and the likelihood finishing 5th could secure a Champions League spot, need to make that a priority. GK: New GK / Kepa RB: Reece James / Malo Gusto RCB: Wesley Fofana / Thiago Silva / Trevoh Chalobah LCB: Levi Colwill / Benoît Badiashile LB: Ben Chilwell / Marc Cucurella CM: Enzo Fernandez / New CM / New CM / Andrey Santos RF: Mason Mount / Noni Madueke CAM: Christopher Nkunku / Conor Gallagher LF: Raheem Sterling / Mykhailo Mudryk ST: New ST / Armando Broja
  6. There was hardly any legitimacy to the Ronaldo reports earlier last summer, and with Vivell and the others now in there is a direction we are clearly heading towards, and Neymar + Mane completely contradict that. We shouldn't be thinking about bringing anyone in until both a manager is announced and we get rid of the majority of the squad that wants to leave.
  7. Most likely going to be a filler season.
  8. I've already read that and I haven't seen anything suggesting we are getting transfer ban should the club not meet FFP for this fiscal season. I do agree with you that the squad needs massive trimming, but I think the narrative that the club is in a crises and desperate to sell is a bit far fetched. We only need to raise approximately £93m before June 30th according to Swiss Ramble, which is doable. Gallagher and Mount combined could raise that.
  9. Tuchel's points earlier in the season prevented us from getting relegated.
  10. Potter was given far more time beyond what was reasonably expected. Club had plenty of grounds to have sacked him earlier and still gave him the benefit of the doubt. No Chelsea manager in the past 20 years had that same luxury. Not even Mourinho 2.0. Plenty of signs that showed Potter was well and truly out of his element, and it took being placed bottom half for the club to act. If the club stick by Poch the same way they had Potter I will be happy.
  11. Who has done worse than Potter whilst lasting longer? Not even Mourinho 2.0 was given that much time that season we finished 10th.
  12. He presents the less risk. - Knows the League. - Knows the Champions League. - Experienced with working and developing young players. - Oversaw a squad overhaul. - Roman wanted him twice and was allegedly Boehly's first choice back in September. He's arguably the perfect fit for where we are as a club right now. Potter was given more time than any Chelsea manager in the past 20 years. Far, far more than he deserved. I can see the club backing Poch and with no Europe next season + a trimmed down squad it could work in his favor.
  13. These young players that have been directionless for the past 10 months. The fact Rory Jennings is against Poch makes this move even better.
  14. At this point in time, Poch is genuinely a perfect fit.
  15. Plans underway to purchase the SIR Oswald Stoll Mansions property as part of the club's boost to rebuild and expand Stamford Bridge.
  16. Think as an inverted fullback he'd be very useful. Hasn't been great. Hasn't been shit. Not a player I'd be fussed if he stayed or left. Good but for the alleged clause of £80m, hard pass. He's being used as a CAM and I think his qualities diminish the deeper he plays. It's why I think he and Nkunku could work but for 80m we are better off finding an actual ST.
  17. No should be back Sunday. Potter was resting him.
  18. I predicted as much. The likes of Law, Philips, Nizaar, etc aren't reliable on this as they have a strong English bias in their reporting. Potter is, nor was he ever, safe this season. Chelsea discuss form amid Graham Potter pressure before Tottenham clash
  19. With James, Chilwell, and Fofana now fit, probably best if we revert to a back 5 again.
  20. Neither at #8 where he's arguably worse and it's alarming reading some Liverpool fans (none on this forum) suggesting he'd do well in midfield for them because of his 'off the ball work'. I promise you, what ever see regarding his off the ball work will be counter productive once he is actually on the ball. Seems another youth player that simply peaked early.
  21. Shame but in reality it would've been a massive step up. Hearing he may move to Palmeiras which would be a good destination before the Premier League.
