  1. I don't see why he wouldn't given his previous performances for England. The same with Shaw and Pickford. Some players just work better in different environments.
  2. Harris & Blitzer get preferential status, we get Gallagher and Loftus-Cheek as part of the divorce proceedings, everybody's a winner.
  3. Very sad news that. Can't begin to imagine what him and his wife are going through.
  4. By competitive I mean someone other than Man City and Liverpool who are about to become the only winners for the previous five seasons.
  5. I want him to leave just so the league becomes competitive again.
  6. From what I've read on the family this sounds like good news for Chelsea. Ignoring the head of the family's outdated religious views, everything I have read about the Chicago Cubs suggests this family will struggle to adapt to a competitive league where the financial rewards between success and failure are astronomical.
  7. I'm sure they'll sign a superstar again this summer and the fans will put those yellow and green scarves back in the loft.

    Wrestling

Looks like Tony Khan had a ton of cocaine yesterday. We're all bots apparently.
  9. I have no doubt Manchester United would be interested, given the culture of the club needs to change signing the England Captain is possibly the most effective and quickest way to do that. That said, whilst I'm sure his relationship with Levy will forever be fractured as a result of broken verbal agreements, but is there really any point in making a sideways step to Manchester United? If he can't win trophies at Tottenham, is he really going to win any at Manchester United? You'd have to say Spurs are in the better position under Conte to do so.
  10. Yeah, wasn't aware of the connotations and I apologise.
  11. It was more of a reference of how Liverpool fans feel they're always the victim of big decisions despite having several VAR calls go there way, the one at Selhurst with Jota being the most fresh, but after googling why you're so angry I apologise if you took it as something more sinister.
  12. Arsenal is the next logical step for Vieira. Unless he takes Palace to the top eight and a Cup Final I don't think one of the big Italian clubs he's played for will consider him. From what Steve Parish has said it sounds like we had a philosophy that Patrick Vieira was happy to implement. That philosophy extends throughout all age groups now and it's designed so that if staff members leave they can be replaced effectively. Whether that's the honest truth or smoke and mirrors remains to be seen.

The Briscoes and FTR had a Match of the Year Contender on the ROH show last night. Absolutely brilliant.

That was not what I expected . His rant about AEW striking a partnership with DDT was a good one. Along with his last rant about Dave Meltzer trying to call him out on Twitter a couple of weeks ago. A couple of months ago Brian shared with him a news story where Michael Cole stated WWE isnt wresting. Cornette started his response by saying he has no ill feeling to Michael Cole as it isn't his fault he thinks this way and then after just two minutes of rileing himself up talking about Kevin Dunn he's saying "Fuck You Michael Cole" and that he's never speaking to him again .
  18. That's the logical next step for him based on his history with the club. I cannot imagine Juventus, Inter, AC Milan etc approaching him based on a successful job turning a relegation threatened team around. I'd understand the appeal in a Leicester or a Newcastle as a next step but I imagine they'd opt for experience.

A lot of the AEW guys out of the main event scene are still taking bookings for events outside of AEW. They don't need too but some of them have such restricted TV time they do so. They're also encouraged to explore other opportunities. Britt Baker is still a part time dentist, Evil Uno does some gaming twitch channel, loads of them vlog or make YouTube shows, Shawn Deeb does a lot of Community Outreach work (as did Cody) on behalf of AEW. It's definitely a much easier schedule than WWE and at this point I'm just happy for people like Brian Cage and Jay Lethal who can make far more money off Tony Khan whilst avoiding injuries than they could working anywhere else.

    Boxing

Oh no I am a complete casual. I'm more invested in certain boxers than the sport itself.
  21. The issue we found ourselves in five years ago was our assets were Cabaye, Sakho, Townsend, Benteke, Van Aanholt etc. All perfectly good players but none of them we could make a profit on. We ended up letting them all go for free. We werent an attractive proposition for young players who saw us a club that didnt sell and didnt particularly play good football. If we had got relegated we would have been in big trouble. With this new model even if we end up selling an asset to a top six club every year then every player worth their salt in The Championship will look at us as an attractive proposition to further there career. Just like how we've come the club that Chelsea know they can send a player with international pedigree too to develop (Reuben Loftus-Cheek, Gallagher and Guehi). Given we're going to lose Gallagher and Kouyate this summer I imagine we will be trying to sign Zaha and Olise on new contracts. If we lose one of them I'm not too concerned as it will mean more game time for Eze or Edourard. Plus bringing in a Brennan Johnson for competition would be sweet business. Whilst somebody should be getting a good deal for Michael Olise, 30m flip on an 8m signing after six months of football is incredible business. If use that money on say Djed Spence and Brennan Johnson the future still looks pretty good. Guehi won't be going anywhere for at least another 12 months. He knows his best chance to play for England is to keep playing and he's really progressed since becoming the captain.

He's had a defibrillator fitted which I think will rule him out. Vince has shown he has a hesitancy to clear people with neck issues and more recently concussions. I don't think he would risk of the health of his Son in Law when the Saudi crowd pops for everybody. Regarding Triple H, I liked him in the late nineties. WWF needed a new character in the main event in 1999 and a focused sharp rejuvinated arsehole was the perfect fit. The Reign of Terror was a slog at times. A lot of the time it felt like they were massaging an ego giving him his own Horsemen group whilst burying WCW but at the same time he did a great job helping elevate Batista at WM21. Beating Brock Lesnar, Sting and winning the title in 2016 were all awful and really symbolic of why performers shouldn't be a part of the creative committee.
