  1. There fans don't seem that worried just because of how good recruitment has been previously. Other than Adebayo they don't forsee others leaving and are optimistic he could go for "silly money". In all honesty I'm not sure what team he could go too.
  2. Out of nowhere Kal Naismith has joined Bristol City.
  3. The best thing about the emergence of podcasts is that I don't have listen to those idiots anymore.
  4. That summer was such a bizarre summer for Chelsea recruitment.
  5. I'll surprised Jurgen winning got a mixed reaction. There was over five candidates this year that were being discussed as potential winners and he was one of them. I think some people are so stubborn in there viewpoint that it clouds later judgement.
  6. As somebody that was all for the Ragnick overhaul when he was appointed I'm surprised that he's being kept on given that he's taken another role with the Austria national team. I know ten Hag is used to being a clog in a wheel without a defined style of play but having Ragnick enforce a footballing philosophy that's guided Manchester United to there worst Premier League finish ever whilst just seems like a question of when and not if that Manchester United tear up the script and start again. The fact Bruno Guimares slipped through the net is a real concern. It feels like Manchester United need to become the 'Dortmund before Dortmund' for a rebuild to phase out the ridiculously high paid players that have been there since Mourinho and are no where near the wages they get paid. Newcastle picking up Bruno suggests to me they've got there fingers on the pulse a lot quicker than United when it comes to that quality of young talent.
  7. Wouldn't Dembele's injury issues be a concern? Couldn't complain about the other two.
  8. I guess the good thing about a takeover is that the new owners are not going to be as hesitant about taking a loss on some players as they can write it off as a mistake by the previous ownership. As a neutral it looked like Werner, Havertz and Mount played some decent football together around the time of the FA Cup semi to suggest they should be Tuchel's go to men as a front three at the start of next season.

    Wrestling

I can't decide whether this Sasha Banks / Naomi stuff is legitimate or just a work. You'd just think if it was real they'd sack them off. They survived Snuka/Argentino, Steroid Trial, WCW's 83 weeks, Montreal Screwjob, Owen Hart tragedy, Benoit Double Murder Suicide etc. Like Vince would care about losing two interchangeable superstars.

    Wrestling

He is but the way they used him in his first match suggests he's going to be just another guy in the rotation if he sticks around.
  11. Definitely. I dont want to excuse the officiating we've seen for the previous three seasons since VAR was introduced as its clearly been abysmal but the amount of rule changes he has made has only added to the problem by complicating officiating to the stage where nobody seems capable of memorising everything every season.
  12. @Stortswould be the best person to ask. I dont think he's a particularly big fan of Lucas Moura but has his fingers on the pulse over Spurs.
  13. I think for them to satisfy Antonio Conte's ambitions as a Manager they'll need to make improvements. I dont think it requires a clear out but more of a bulk in squad quality. Defensively they've been pretty good in recent weeks but I imagine Antonio Conte would like better wing backs and another center back. Emerson Royal's crossing has been so unpredictable you could tell against Arsenal that Conte has told him not to cross anymore. Burnley was the first time I watched Ryan Sessegnon and thought he looked like he could cause damage. Further up the pitch it may just be a case of moving on Winks and Bergwijn and replacing them with better players for the purposes of competition.
  14. Recreating this photo . Another generation of part time footballers, full time social influencers coming through the United academy then.
  15. Given the rumours of a dressing room bust up at half time against Wolves i dont think we will see Alonso play for Chelsea again.
  16. Cardiff City kick us off with a good signing from League Two in Forest Green's box-to-box midfielder Ebou Adams.

    Wrestling

I can't see it happening with Tony Khan's booking. He will probably wrestle John Silver. I didn't have a problem with Adam Page winning the title at Full Gear. His first two matches with Bryan Danielson were very good too, but to not build up potential challengers after that has been foolish and made his run feel flat. At no point did Lance Archer, a man whose lost all the big matches, feel like a credible threat. At no point did Adam Cole, who lost to a hug against Orange Cassidy, feel like a credible threat. Now he's about to face his second legit challenger and everybody thinks he should lose. MJF looked like the man after he beat CM Punk, Keith Lee had a solid debut before he was having a 50/50 match with JD Drake three weeks later, people were behind Malakai Black until he started doing all this on/off hocus pocus stuff, Adam Cole didn't have to lose to Orange Cassidy or Jungle Boy. There was enough people he could have made look like a legitimate threat instead of having Jay Lethal ranked number two because he won six matches on Dark nobody bothered to watch.
  18. I can't get over how much he reminded me of Ted Lesso last weekend.

    Wrestling

I'd rather Okada drop his title to Jay White at Dominion and then face Bryan Danielson to be honest. It would be 50/50 on who wins that one. I'm not as stoked as everybody else on the forbidden door PPV. Dynamite is a mess at the minute with the amount of crap they're trying to fit in to a two hour show. There's too many storylines for the length of matches they like to have and creating more for a special PPV is just going to make everything more convoluted. Tony Khan keeps making the mistake of treating his audience as if they're hardcore Wrestling fans as opposed to AEW fans. It feels like sometimes you need a PhD in ROH over the last 20 years, NJPW historical and present, NXT 1.0, historical PWG, AEW Dark and any other event there wrestlers work on just to understand what is going on. I liked ROH but nobody wanted that ROH women's title main event this week. There was no explanation or build as to who Deonna Purazzo is for those that dont watch Impact. It's only going to get worse if they start heavily promoting this cross over show and they just assume we all already know everything there is to know about Japanesse Wrestling.
  20. AND IT'S LIVE!! Vote for your Member of the Month for April here:

  21. Whilst this team have exceeded expectations I still think you need to be ruthless in moving players and staff on to break in to the top eight as quickly as possible.
  22. Unfortunately I think the arrival of Bruno in January shows they're well versed in the recruiting department. I thought he was a sure grab for one of the sides competing for fourth this summer.
  23. Sounds like the most ideal candidate has won.
