  1. The fees being quoted for him have shocked me a little. Good on FM though.
  2. Josh Laurent has joined Stoke City from Reading. That's a good signing. Even better if they can land his partner in midfield Rinomhota too.

Jeff Hardy has been suspended without pay following another DUI. Booker T seems to be the only person with the balls to say AEW have to take some responsibility for the mental stunts he's been doing for the past three months. Reby Hardy has unsurprisingly made a TikTok video to divert all attention to herself.

Impact Midcarder Jay White IWGP World Champion and cut a great promo on the AEW roster after. Zack Sabre Jr. has challenged Bryan Danielson which would make the PPV worth buying in itself.

Yeah, Will Ospreay looks pretty good in AEW too. Hopefully he sticks around long term.
  8. Yeah I forgot about Member of the Month for May.

  9. Managed to negotiate new contracts with the four players I hoped we would keep. So it's a good start to the off season. - James McArthur - Nathaniel Clyne. - Jordan Ayew - James Tomkins

Imagine six months ago telling people that Cody was going to be the stand out performer of 2022.
  11. That's a very good signing for a Championship club.

Cody Rhodes and Bryan Danielson both injured now too. That's the weekly shows looking bleak for the whole summer.

The Summer of Punk lasted long. I hope Bryan gets the title but I imagine they'll give it to Mox.

Check out the "media scrum" last week if you haven't. The bloke has lost the plot.

They're all hit and miss on a weekly basis. They all tend to do a good job with the big PPV's though.
  16. I've only just heard about this. I've been pretty vocal throughout the last three seasons on how good I think Kouyate has been in the roles he's played for us and genuinely think given how well he looks after himself he could play in his current role at this level for the next two to three years regardless of his age. After hearing this though, I don't want to see him in a Palace kit again. His contract is up and he can go to the Middle East and make an obscene amount of money elsewhere. To post what he has done in the same week that Jake Daniels came out as a gay footballer as far as I'm concerned was intentional and to suggest that Gueye is a 'real man' -- thereby implying that the support of LGBTQ+ initiatives is not the act of real men, is disappointing. The Club saying they're going to deal with this matter internally doesn't cut it for me. Given the sensitivity of the issue they should be communicating with the fan base exactly how they're dealing with the matter. I've always been proud of the fact that for generations Crystal Palace have regularly been giving opportunities to young black footballers and as a football club we take a zero stance on discrimination. To know a footballer for our club thinks Idrissa Gueye is a 'real man' quite frankly makes me embarrassed and angry.
  17. I have no idea what Aston Villa's finances are like, but to persuade a successful Championship manager to give up his managerial aspirations to become an Assistant Manager suggests to me they're paying a pretty high rate regardless of the link between Gerrard and Crtichley from Liverpool.

Given they work two days a week when you factor in travel the lack of improvement in some of them over the last 2 to 3 years is pretty astonishing. LAX are good but I don't think you can really class them as homegrown given they were in Impact. Will Hobbs is good but they struggle to book big people properly. Sammy Guevara is good but he'a shot himself in the foot with his social media presence. The two teams that are improving under the surface are The Gunn Club and The Acclaimed. The former are clearly listening to their old man away from this circus and the latter are entertaining whenever they get a chance. Teams like Jurassic Express, Best Friends and Dark Order can have no complaints when the time comes to put them over. I like Kris Statlander too but unfortunately for her Tony Khan is scared of women. Speaking of Tony Khan and women, he got to touch one for the first time the other night:

I felt fatigued by the time the main event for Revolution came on after that Sting, Darby, Matt Hardy six man tag. If that was the nineties the main eventers would have lost it at what went on in that match. All Out had a lacklustre middle with Jericho sandbagging MJF but this was pretty solid throughout. Even the matches I wasn't fussed about had good endings. Hopefully Bryan gets a win over Jericho and we get Bryan/Punk at All Out. People will moan its two ex-WWE guys but they're the best two guys they've got at the minute.

MJF not turning up at the meet and greet for fans is causing a lot of speculation. Guess we will find out at the PPV if there's anything to it.
  22. The two sides that got business done early last season were Huddersfield and Luton. They both ended up making the playoffs.
  23. There fans don't seem that worried just because of how good recruitment has been previously. Other than Adebayo they don't forsee others leaving and are optimistic he could go for "silly money". In all honesty I'm not sure what team he could go too.
  24. Out of nowhere Kal Naismith has joined Bristol City.
  25. The best thing about the emergence of podcasts is that I don't have listen to those idiots anymore.
