  1. So who has the money to buy Chelsea for £2 billion plus? It's similar to selling Manchester United, the only people who have that kind of money are the Arabs and the Chinese and we don't want either involved in football. Better the devil you know.
  2. Not to belittle a very tragic situation, but maybe Chesla should just be suspended for the season. We need all the help we can get to finish top four.
  3. Chelsea certainly looks tired, so do a lot of other clubs. It's been hard season, first many of the Premier players didn't have much of a summer break due to the Euros and I think Covid has had a greater effect than we realise. When you are tired and perhaps feeling down due to the restrictions society has implemented to fight Covid you are more susceptible to injuries. I have never been a fan of the winter breaks that leagues in Europe have, but if we expect players to play International tournaments almost every summer, maybe it's time to consider shutting down for longer than a week in January or February.
  4. This never should have gone to trial, it is a clear cut case of self defense. The performance by the prosecution was a joke,, their witnessess proved the defendant's case. The judge should had declared it a Directed Verdict after the prosecution rested. Justice was served here.
  5. I have heard that FSG is in serious talks to buy the NHL's Pittsburg Penquins. So will that put Liverpool a little bit down the pecking order if FSG has to spend money on their sports franchises?
  6. Does Allison dig at referee Pawson on instergram warrent a suspension? " it's not so hard when you can use your hands" Malignant the referee, questioning the integrity of the game.
  7. It's been time for a while now, but it won't be Bruce. Probably Conte or Zidane, but I would go for ten hag or maybe Rangnick. Brenden Rogers I think is the bookies favourite. But I fear they won't sack him unless we are out if everything by the end of November, which is certainly possible.
  8. De Gea is a better keeper in my opinion. Henderson is more vocal and seems to organize the back four better, but in all other aspects of the job I would take De Gea over him. I think United shoukd have sold him or shaped for somebody they need.
  9. That's the agent fee your talking about right? The agent always gets a fee when their client is renewing his contract don't they? Or are you talking about something else?
  10. Can't figure out who he was passing to, it was no where near De Gea and if it was supposed to be to one of the defenders on that side, they would have been under pressure from the Young Boy's attackers. With 30 seconds left he should have just hooved it out of bounds. You have to wonder if you are used to playing in one colour and the team you are playing are wearing that colour, does it cause problems. I can't remember West Ham playing in yellow , but with so many different jerseys who knows. Maybe Lingard is a little colur blind?
  11. Solksjaer will be happy to have him, but I doubt bringing in Ronaldo is part of his vision. Ole wants Haaland. Absolutely this about stopping him going to City as much as anything else. It's also about the business end of the game as well. United's share price was up $200 million at one point yesterday and the club gained over a million new followers on instantgram yesterday, though I am not sure what that results in. It will also increase sponsorship who could well be paying some of his wages.
  12. You forgot Larsson and bringing Scholes out of retirement. They all may have been in the twilight of their careers but they all were useful additions. I have a feeling Ronaldo will score his fair share of goals the next two years. If we can add a top DM in the next few days we might surprise a few people.
  13. I have to admit she is excellent at laundering all that Russian mob money
  14. Yeah its a tactical or professional foul and it happens all the time, City are masters at it, but Rudiger lead with his shoulder. If he had just stood up and blocked De Bruyne's run there's no problem but this could have been preseved as Rudiger trying to put De Bruyne out of the game.
  15. They should captain Rudiger for his assault on De Bruyne.
  16. I don't see any evidence that they are going to dump Solksjaer, more talk of him having his contract extended rather than him leaving. If they do want Conte they need to act sooner rather than later because he won't be available for long.
  17. I would say the Liquidator is talking about Conte. You can't argue with his record, he's had a lot of success, though he seems to be a difficult individual to deal with if you don't agree with him. Conte doesn't play with wingers , he likes wing backs and 3 CB's. Sometimes the wing backs stay back and it looks like he is playing with 5 at the back. He maybe considered too defensive for a club like United who like to play with wingers. What happens if we get Sancho this summer, where does Conte play him. As for Lukaku, he seems to me to only play at his best when everything is the way he wants it. But if he is not happy with something about the team or the manager, he does not give 100%. He was very good at United in the beginning, but something change and he stopped playing for us and wanted out. It will be interesting to see what happens at Inter this season now that Conte has gone, will he play as well under a new manager or with another team?
  18. I suspect and fear that Solksjaer will get a new contract. Solksjaer seems to be liked by the owners and Woodward, he has settled things somewhat and there has been a little progress, he's not on a lot of money compared to some other managers and the club hope he maybe the key to getting Haarland here. The problem is the summer transfer window has to be a big one for United, we need 4 new players who can start, not that we will get them all in one window, but its not hard to identify who they are. Do you bring in 2 or 3 players who will start and replace the manager who has had some input in identifying these players. I guess you could, it seemed to work for Chelsea. It was always a big ask to move from Cardiff to United, just as it was too much to move from Everton to United. I don't think he is tactical astute enough to manage United and can't compete with top managers in the big games and it would be a mistake to offer him a new contract. But that's me, like I said I think they will extend his contract, hopefully they will think long and hard about it, but the Glazer's track record doesn't give me much hope.
  19. Think he will figure out how to beat Tuchel by then?
  20. There are rumours out today that Spurs are interested and Conte is interested in the job. I wonder if United should consider replacing Solksjaer with him.
  21. What do you mean by hot seat? The goalkeeper, the manger, the owners or the next transfer window? Unfortunately it's hot wherever you sit at Old Trafford now, that's if the stadium doesn't fall apart around you.
  22. A loan with somebody paying half the wages is probably the best Real will get for Hazard. Isn't he on about £400,000 a week? Something similar to the Bale deal for one year. It is a shame what injuries have done to him, he was one of the best players to play in the Premier. Any chance he will ever be healthy enough again to get back near to his best? Or has he had it as a top player?
  23. Hopefully that will be one of the moves next transfer window.
  24. The problem with Bailly is he can't stay healthy, much like Phil Jones. We still need a CB, a CF a Right winger and a defensive midfielder
