Wasn't there some bullocks on the internet about a year ago that Liverpool under Klopp were doping? Some sort of pre game or after game caffeine based cocktail that allowed them to play their energetic high press, game after game without getting injured. It was also claimed that this season was going to be an off year since you could only keep players on this for a set number of years and Liverpool had reached the time limit. Obviously a load of crap, but they have had more than their share of injuries. Plus what was that about Klopp wanting Liverpool players on a different training schedule? Didn't want their secret regimen discovered maybe? Ps. Just to reiterate before any Liverpool fan gets upset, I don't believe any of it, but it is kind of ironic.

didn't know it was covid related, just saw him flaged on my fantasy team.

Salah is ill now, I imagine he should be fine for Leicester , but maybe you should just forfeit.

I think Pochettino is a good manager, but the situation at United needs more than a good manager to fix. Woodward's role and the need for a DOF are issues that aren't going away. What Pochettino wants regarding those issues and how much control the Glazers and Woodward will give him remains to be seen. In the end United might not want to change the present situation enough to make it a good fit for Pochettino. -

He's skating on thin ice, United aren't going to get into the Champions League under Ole and that seems to be the yardstick on how the Glazers measure managers. So I don't expect him to reach the summer window, the January one I am not sure. Supposedly Woodward has already spoken to Pochettino. There are rumours that Pochettino is also taking with another club possibly Real Madrid so he could turn us down or be using United to get a better deal from Real. If Poch is the one United want and he wants to come, they need to act sooner rather than later. So Everton could be Solskjaer's last game. -
Definitely , I have spent my life avoiding the sun.

Just saw the odds on the final. Surprised Brentford are around even money and Fulham is close to 3 to 1? I thought the two were pretty even. I guess it's because Brentford beat them home and away and Fulham are carrying a couple of injuries. -

Its mind boggling how much De Gea has slipped. I wonder if his eyes need checking? I cant figure out what's going on. -
I remember Bonetti as a kid, one of my favourite players. Jimmy Greaves is in rough shape as well.

Surprised by the severity of the punishment, UEFA doesn't usually have the balls. No doubt in my mind they are quilty as charged. Hope the penalty stands through the appeals, in fact wish it was harsher and that along with PSG, they were thrown out of football. No country should be allowed to own a football club.

He scored a very nice goal against United but I have not seen him play many times. He plays on the left and cuts into the middle a lot and we have players that do that. We need somebody who can do that from the right. His crosses are weak and so is his tackling and he is not young as I thought. Does he even want to leave Villa ? He is a Brummie and he's been with Villa since he was 6 years old. -

I do not think so, but I dont do the hiring and firing, To me he has not shown he has the tactical nuance to break down sides that dont come out to play or to get players to play to their ability when we are not playing big clubs. Beating Spurs and City has given him breathing room and he will keep his job til near the end of the season if not longer. I suspect the board will give him the next two transfer windows to bring in the 4 or 5 top players we still need. -

That's the problem in a nutshell. Great performance today, but its frustrating that we don't show up for games against teams we should be expected to beat. Is it that Solsksjaer can not motivate the players to turn out week to week, or is it the players can only get up for top clubs. -

Solskjaer has to be on thin ice. It's got to be getting to a point where top players won't come to United. The papers have us favourites for Sancho and Haaland in January, but why would they come? I think if we lose the next two games and the Board is finding that our run of play is jeopardizing recruitment of top talent coming in this January, then Solskjear wont make it to Christmas. Make a deal with Ponchettino that covers any lose he will suffer if he signs and hope he can bring in some decent players in January. -
I don't know who you are playing on Tuesday, but we are playing Wednesday. Think our line up will be a mixture, a number of the kids will play. Won't be a weakened line up, but some first team players will get a rest.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/9295242/Chelseas-rebuilding-grows-with-78m-Eden-Hazard-signing.html Just repeating what the stories where at the time Here's one that says his agent John Bico demanded £6million. Google John Bico it seems he was the agent for all the Hazards and Edin replaced him after he joined Chelsea, it is said that Bico negotiated with United, City and Chelsea. He played all three teams against each other to get the best deal for Hazard and for himself. Now Bico dosent seem to be straightest character out there, but there are enough stories in all the papers that identify him as Hazard's agent when he made the move to Chelsea. -

That was the story at the time of Hazard's transfer to Chelsea. That Chelsea paid 6 or 7 million to his agent and United wouldn't. I have no idea if it's true but United fans have always believed it. First I have heard he didn't have an agent , which in these times seems odd. As for Maguire, he fills a desperate need, sure it's massively over priced but what with the English premium, the United premium and Leicester having us over a barrel, it is what it is. Beside the money only would have gone into the owners pockets. -

You may be right about Lukaku agent fee, I am not sure. United have missed out of players over the years because they wouldn't pay the agent fees, Hazard is said to be one. Maybe they grew tired of losing out and decided to pay ridiculously high agent fees. To me agent fees in general are a major problem in football. If a agent picks up millions of pounds each time he transfers a player somewhere, there will be a threat of players moving every two or three years and thats not good for the fans. Are you saying Chelsea should sell CHO if he signs a new contract? I thought he was one for your future. -

I believe somebody else on here said the same thing. I know I have heard it said he will end up at Chelsea before because of his friendship with CHO, but it could have been on another forum. No offense intended, my orginial point was that City and United fans say the same thing about his friendship with their younger players. I suspect Liverpool fans are saying something similar. Either Sancho is one hell of a friendly guy or or he tells everyone he will join them in the Premier. -

I don't know, it's just everytime his name is mentioned here, a Chelsea fan mentions he will end up at Chelsea. -

CITY fans say he is best mates with Sterling and he's going back to City. United fans say hes close to Rashford and Lingard and is coming to United. Should be the big transfer deal next summer and cost over £100m, expect whoever offers him and Dortmund the most money will get him. -
That's what I thought. £315,000 to a oil rich kingdom is ridiculous, should have added a couple of other zeroes at least.
