Yes, to be honest, Stuttgart did well to keep him. Newcastle United and Fulham among other clubs, were really interested in him this summer, but Stuttgart kept him in the end. Guirassy has scored an incredible 8 Bundesliga goals in just 4 matches so far this season.
Scored in the cup match against Bahlingen as well.

I haven't played FM in a while, but my resume in that was about as incredible as any manager in the history of the world
Ok, you're back in the running.

Thanks for asking, I'm not going to lie I've had a bad period. I decided to come online less as I need to get my head clear.
To top it off my mum who suffers with COPD recently got Covid and ended up in hospital for a period. Thankfully she's on the mend now and she's home.
Wishing her and you all the best. Get back on when you can.

Actually @Devil-Dick Willie sold himself better a couple posts above so I'm going with him. You've got nothing on your resume.

In all honesty I'd say van Gaal or Nagelsmann. Bayern have offered up Nagelsmann for free now as long as the DFB pays all of his salary. I'm not sure that his personality would work with the national team players though as he is known to be pouty and abrasive if he doesn't get his way.
I am intrigued about van Gaal though. I'd be happy with that appointment.

I thought van Gaal had retired from coaching after the World Cup. Having said that, I think he's a really good option for Germany. He's someone who can build a team and give it cohesion in a short time, and you can definitely count that he will demand german players to give it all.
Germany needs a quick fix, to be somewhat competitive in less than a year and that was exactly what he did for Netherlands in last year's World Cup. He took over in 2021 and while his dutch team didn't play brilliant football, it was a really tough team to beat.
I believe he said that he was done with club football but he's still interested in managing a national team.

Thinking of the guy who literally became known as Löw's assistant as a breath of fresh air.
To be fair that was the prevailing thought at the time, especially after he played such flowing football at Bayern. His stock was on the up and it seemed like a great appointment.

Sammer hasn't had a coaching gig in ages tho. Last time was Stuttgart? 2005 or something.
True but he's been involved with Dortmmm.... wait. Nevermind.

An article I read mentioned Oliver Glasner or Mattias Sammer. Those aren't bad shouts actually. Sammer was hard as nails and might instill some of that grit that's needed. Glasner did well at Frankfurt before he fell out with the board there. Not sure if he could handle all the egos of a NT though. I think I'd lean toward Sammer.

He is the logical choice. Question is whether he'd go for it or will he wait out the Dortmund job.

How's Rüdiger doing for Real Madrid? I don't always get the criticism he gets from some. Personality and player wise, he's definitely someone I'd want on my team.
No love for Tah?
Wasn't sure if he had been called up somewhere else. Also, I'd add Hany Mukhtar from Nashville in the MLS. The guy is unreal.
Don't know much about Rudiger. All I know is that the CB pairings haven't been working out.

Just for the hell of it I put together a 23-man squad of players that I would pick. Some are incumbents but others deserve a shot at least. Maybe it's a stupid list, but this team needs some grit.
Attack: Füllkrug, Ducksch, Werner, Burkhardt, Adeyemi, Moukoko, Hofmann
Midfield: Brandt, Kimmich, Neuhaus, Arnold, Wirtz, Musiala
Defense: Bella-Kotchap, Günter, Knoche, Andrich, Ginter, Raum, Henrichs, Wolf
GK: Ter Stegen, Baumann
-
I'm going to keep beating this drum until I see changes. Stop calling up the same fucking fools that are underperforming. Why are Schlotterbeck, Rudiger, Gnabry, Muller, Can, etc. still in this team? If you're going to lose then at least be blooding the newest batch of players so that there is some semblance of chemistry between them between now and next summer.
And fuck all the umlauts... I can't be arsed.

Kate Winslet and Penelope Cruz off the top of my head. Rachel Wiesz (sp?) was hot af in the Mummy movies.

How was it, I love both bands and have seen them separate and together!
I have electric callboy tickets for end of yearUnfortunately I didn't get to go. Had parenting responsibilities with kids sports, etc. and with our packed schedules I couldn't make it work. Had to sell the tickets.

Tbh I don't know, I just assumed so because it's a USA basketball team
Yeah I was expecting a "dream team" lineup, but honestly I lost interest in the NBA so these might be the best...I just know them.
-
Just looked at the US roster, who the fuck are these guys? I'm way out of touch with pro basketball

lol that's embarassing for the USA. Team full of NBA players should probably be winning this but lol no.
Was it? I don't recall seeing too many names there that meant anything to me. I don't exactly follow the NBA that closely though.

Small correction, next weekend, this weekend is that dull International break. Annoying since we were beginning to gel the last 2 matches.
Ah yes, the stupid international break. Funny the difference between countries who observe the international break and those that don't. Spain's 2nd league doesn't stop for international breaks so they are on next weekend.

He'll be gone next summer. Hopefully we get 50-60m out of him. He just signed a permanent contract this summer after being on loan from France. It was either Rennes or Lens, can't remember which. Or was it Reims?
