Funny enough its sounds like thats a point of contention right now. Tuchel wants at least a one year extension which imo he absolutely should be demanding in this case. Sounds like over the weekend a decision is coming.

Uli always runs his mouth but imo he should be sucking up to Tuchel.  There are literally no other options right now and having a guy in-house who's a proven winner ain't a bad place to be.

This is just it over the course of the season Tuchel's criticism's where proven right. He proved he can adapt to even the thin squad he was given and his tactics basically got us very, very close to the CL final.

If I were him I'd be in there making demands:  I'll stay but I want more say in the squad planning and tell that old man up top to shut his hole.

I think its two fold; you're definitely right on the one hand Im a bit surprised Tuchel would be interested but if he can get an extension in this uno reversal that sounds pretty enticing. Secondly I think when he looks around and see's there isnt really any better coaching options for himself out there either.

Id have to think when Eberl is sitting down with him to iron out an extension (hypothetically for now mind you) he would have to allow him more say in the squad restructuring as well. That wouldn't really seem bad from Tuchel's side of things looking at it objectively I figure.

Honestly I think he was always the best option for Bayern.  It's not like he performed poorly... Leverkusen were just an unbelieveable team this season.  Squad still needs a major overhaul.  Upamecano, Goretzka, Choupo-Moting, Gnabry all need shipped out.  Probably some others.

  4. Pole Position - Which driver will post the fastest lap in Q3 AFTER MAX VERSTAPPEN IS REMOVED FROM THE RESULTS?

    Leclerc

Podium - Which drivers will finish the Grand Prix in the top three positions AFTER MAX VERSTAPPEN IS REMOVED FROM THE RESULTS?

    1. Leclerc

    2. Norris

    3. Perez

Random Driver - Predict the finishing position of this week's random driver, Nico Hulkenberg.

    P9

Bonus Question - I've selected 8 drivers - Perez, Sainz, Piastri, Stroll, Ricciardo, Magnussen, Gasly and Sargeant - that are trailing their team-mates in the world championship so far. Tip one of these drivers to finish ahead of their team-mate on Sunday and if they do it, you will receive 5 points.

    Gasly

Just learned Stuttgart are now the 8th German football club with over 100k members after Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke, Köln, Frankfurt, HSV, and Gladbach.

It's remarkable two of these 8 clubs are 2.Liga clubs with Schalke and HSV, if Köln are relegated it will be even 3 next season.

Stuttgart's season has definitely had an impact on membership.  They had just crossed the 90k threshold late last year iirc.

  6. Cottbus on the verge of a return to 3. Liga.  Need only a draw in their last match against Hertha II.

Stuttgarter Kickers need a win or Stuttgart II to drop points on the last matchday to be promoted.

Aachen have been confirmed as coming up.

Wurzburger Kickers will face Hannover II in the 3. Liga promotion playoffs from the Regionalliga Bayern and Nord, respectively.

Lutz Pfannenstiel. He holds the record for the only footballer to play professionally in each of the six recognized continental associations. I read his book. Very interesting.

He was at Fortuna Düsseldorf before he went to the US. I liked him and the job he was doing. Shame it didn't work out for some reason.

Yes he occasionally does the English commentary for Bundesliga matches and seems like a smart fellow.  He was a goalkeeper iirc?

Allegedly he's already negotiating with MLS clubs. That can be granted, he's apparently not unprincipled enough to whore himself to a Saudi club. That deserves a honorable mention.

St. Louis specifically.  Management team there includes ex-player Lutz Pfannenspiel (sp?) and Roman Burki is there.

Two no-shows this time. We haven't managed all ten people predicting for 4 races in a row. Predictions were posted on Tuesday morning so I tried :what:.

Sorry mate, I was on a work trip all of last week and was swamped.

A few weeks ago I think that would have held some relevance, but with Norwich only needing a point to secure playoffs, I don't think they're as tough as first thought. Ipswich are well rested too considering they had a weekend off. I think they'll beat Coventry but perhaps draw with Hull.

What I have learnt though is that just because teams have nothing left to play for in terms of playoffs or survival, they can still throw up a surprise of a performance.

So yeah, who the fuck knows what will happen xD

Hull has a game in hand and Coventry has 2 in hand on Norwich.
