Apparently Palmer is not a good trainer and a bit of a chav off field hence why Pep is happy to let him leave

Mate what does where he grew up or how he dresses got to do with it. He's a local lad to me and I've mentioned on here before I know a few lads who know his family. Like most footballers they come from working class backgrounds.

I have it on good authority there has been a bit of a disagreement about playing time so the decision was made to leave to gain it. Chelsea have offered him a wage he simply can't refuse at this stage of his career and he has had a good chat with Poch that encouraged the move.

Trust me Foden comes from a rougher background, he's from local to me as well.

  2. Look, a fit Luke Shaw is a incredible footballer, he's technically fantastic but he's got a real issue. The lad comes back from every summer totally out of shape and fitness.

This issue has been highlighted by two of our previous managers and ETH noticed it last season taking him out of the team for a period. I'd be inclined to link any muscle related injuries to poor fitness and pushing yourself beyond what your body is capable of. I remember listening to an ex pro explaining the dangers of muscle injuries playing unfit. People think you can play yourself into fitness but it's simply not good for the body to do that at such a level. It's an issue with Shaw the club should have sorted years ago as it's unprofessional.

  3. If you're a Spurs fan you are livid. No European football means plenty of rest periods between games. You can afford to go full strength in every match.

A full strength Spurs side should march through this competition. Fair enough Fulham would have always been difficult but surely give yourself the best opportunity and hope for weaker opposition in the next round.

The idea of Kai Havertz wasn't even that appealing. No one could figure out why we were going for him and we still can't figure out why we did. He just doesn't fit. And we're moving players around to make him fit.

An option off the bench that can fill in for a number of positions is the best place for him right now and even then Trossard & Vieira are better options.

He's such a confusing player, I'm really confused what people see in him.

He's one of those players you can't pin point a position he excels in.

You don't seem to understand that  your comparison of you kissing willing people on the cheek is completely irrelevant because it is not one bit similar to the situation here.

Kissing someone who doesn't want it on the lips without consent and then pressuring that person into defending it publicly IS sexual harassment, whether you like it ir not, especially if it's done by someone in a position of power.

    What don't I understand.

I don't think the spontaneous kiss was anywhere near as offensive as its being made out. Whether its from a homeless man on the street or by someone in a powerful position.

    It was a celebratory moment.

The other shit about him trying to force her to back his story is a different matter as is his other shit as I've said over and over.

    Conversation over.

Not at all. I just assume that people that you kiss "without consent" on Christmas are either your family, relatives, or friends, which is a completely different thing altogether, and it baffles me if you don't see that.

I've given many a stranger a Christmas or new years kiss spontaneously. Are you trying to imply I'm some sort of sexual deviant because of this?

I've also been kissed on the cheek countless times in celebration as well. I don't consider a kiss that much of a intrusion to get my boxers in a twist.

Honestly I get you being a female must hate unwanted advances off blokes but in this situation they were celebrating the world cup in front of an audience of millions, he was hardly forcing himself on her in the back room of a club or taxi.

Some sheltered lives have been lived if a pecking kiss (no tongue) is deemed sexual assault.

Being a father of two girls as well I think I'm fully intune with what I'd find acceptable and unacceptable. To me he's been hung out to dry for this because he's a prick, not because of the kiss.

The second sentence of yours is all that is needed, really. He kissed her without consent, spontaneous joy-filled moment or not.

I kiss people at Christmas all time without consent and that's acceptable. It maybe would be weird if I lips kissed them but it still happens.

I'm not defending the guy as he's clearly abused his position previously, I just think the kiss has been blown out of proportion. If he'd grabbed her arse or held her beyond what was comfortable then I'd be appalled.

Is this a possibility the women as using this situation to finally nail him for previous stuff?

  8. I know very little on this other than the two clips I've seen online. Firstly the kiss, whilst I fully appreciate he shouldn't be kissing the female player without her consent.

That said it was a moment of absolute joy shared with the tailswomen of the team. It was a spontaneous moment which at the time I doubt if he had a single thought it would be blown up into this world story.

The grab of his balls was bizarre though, it certainly wasn't befitting of the company he was keeping on that balcony and given the size of the story on this he should step down from his position.

If I'm missing something he's done previously then fair enough I'm wrong but destroying a man for a celebratory kiss in the moment is just wrong. He's being hung out to dry like a sexual preditor and just feels well over the top to me.

FSG would accept 100m no questions asked. It’s inevitable he moves to the Saudi league, we just can’t allow it to happen with less than a week of our window left.

That's lower than I actually thought. Given the short notice and the effects it would have on your league chances I don't think 100 million is anywhere near enough.

150 million and if it was my clubs player I'd say you have to take it. That could be invested in two top players or one younger world class player.

9Tough question.  I guess it could depend on whether the club you support is consider one of the so called big clubs or not. I never rated Shearer that highly because I believed he turned United down because he didn't have the balls to compete on the big stage,  that he settled for being a big fish in a small pond. Probably would have felt different if I supported Newcastle.

    You didn't rate Shearer???

Mate he was literally a fucking machine, he had two ACL injuries and is still top premier league goalscorer.

How many would he have had without?

  11. Nobody is going to buy him after two years out and a video recording of domestic abuse and sexual abuse in circulation. Even it he went somewhere on a free there is a good chance he will be hounded out and club sponsors threatening to pull out of deals. This crazy notion he's going to rebuild his career is nothing but fantasy.

  12. I've got two Noel Gallagher tickets for Wythenshawe Park Saturday 26th August. £65 a ticket but I'm willing to take £45 a ticket if anyone is interested.

Need to be sold as a pair.
