    How did it happen? 😬

Clipped a ball past a player who'd committed to a tackle, leg got trapped under his body and it snapped like a branch. The noise was exactly like a branch.

Weird shit was I didn't feel it straight away it was only when I tried to get up and the lad grabbed me to hold me down I realised there was a problem. I looked down and I'd completely snapped my tibia and fibula just under my knee joint and my left leg was basically on a right angle 🤣

    Then the pain hit hard!!

Seen broken legs during Sunday League Games. Really minging to see first hand.

Yeah, this was a shocker mate. Two steel plates and loads of screws and I had to have a bone graft off my hip to rebuild the knee joint.

True, but if you're a player now Brentford are a more attractive proposition than Forest.

Brentford have far more about them than Forest. At least with Brentford you're not up against 50 players for a first team spot xD

Come on mate, you can't seriously be comparing Nottingham Forest and Brentford.

Sheffield Wednesday have been out of the Premier League for a nearly the same period but you'd also say if they were a Premier League club they'd dwarf Brentford.

But when you look at the clubs now, @Dannyisn't wrong with what he lists. Brentford are extremely well-run.

Historically of course Forest hold that higher rank, but if you're talking history, it probably should be taken into account that Forest were also out of the PL for 20+ years.

The same 20 years Brentford have hardly been relevant.

I've nothing against Brentford or any of these tiny clubs that are well run come up and do really well. They've been fantastic as we know only too well, they destroyed us.

All I'm saying if I'm a player and I have a choice between the two I'd be looking at Forest and thinking I'd rather see where these are going than Brentford.

Why would you want to join a club with a better manager, better players, better coaching staff, better director of football, better owner and a better chance of increasing your goal/assist contributions in a single season that can then give you better options for a transfer to Champions League clubs.

You've had a couple of good seasons in the Premier League, let's not get ahead of yourself.

The reason being Forest are a double winning European Cup winning club that dwarf tiny Brentford.

Bournemouth, Brentford and Brighton, all well run football clubs but that doesn't mean they are big. I'd rather play for Forest whilst they are Premier League outfit.

Bizarre. Any footballing or finance person would surely look at the situation of the manager choosing left backs ahead of him & take any money asap.

But then why accept and opening bid, nobody offers the figure they are willing to pay in a first bid. He will go for around 30 million plus add ons for European qualifications.

I suspect we will sell him and Mctominey as a package 60 million plus similar add ons.

Going Crawford, he's elite elite in my opinion and as Josh mentioned Spence is only a few years off that horrific accident so we don't know how much that's taken out of him really.

Fury is an absolute joke. As I’ve said countless times. It’s criminal that he’s conned the public for so many years. His legacy is 2 elite boxers in Wlad and Wilder. Usyk and even AJ have much better resumes and legacy’s in the sport.

He avoids Usyk despite Usyk giving into his demands and calling his bluff… then fights someone who’s never boxed professionally. Making a joke of the heavyweight division. Shocking.

All about making money in the easiest possible ways isn't it. They've realised Tommy can only fight and make big money against YouTube stars, Big John is looking for a Tyson exhibition in Saudi. Tyson himself taking this stupid Ngannu fight.

They even moved into the drinks market around the same time as the Prime nonsense.

I think he will eventually get in with AJ myself, it will more than likely bring down the curtain on either man's career.

Nah I don't really have any sympathy... and not just because I hated Man Utd lol. Pre-season friendlies are just basically glorified training sessions that imo should go back to be played behind closed doors like they were back in the day, but they won't because they're now used as an opportunity to milk overseas fans for as much money as they can. I don't think it's particularly useful for the players to have fans there or for fans to make too many inferences about what's going on with their team from the results of those friendlies.

I think fans should know this and should know that when they're buying their ticket they're basically just accepting they're getting milked for all they can be milked for.

United are basically pioneers in milking a global fanbase for all their worth, so I'm not in the least bit surprised. And tbh, fans should probably have been aware considering there was a friendly with Real Madrid in Texas around the same time... and obviously for first team players, playing against Real Madrid is a better training exercise than playing against fucking Wrexham. These fans basically just paid a premium because of the United name and the fact that Wrexham are owned by a Hollywood star that got his team famous in the states because of that TV show they've got.

    🤣

Your hate for United holds no bounds.

You hate United too much mate,

Lol the advertisements for it were hilarious though because they made it seem like it would be a heavyweight fight between two European powerhouses. But it's just Ryan Reynolds' league 2 side vs. kids & Jonny Evans. Created a load of traffic (not United's fault, it's SDSU's fault for making the entrance/exit to the stadium worse than it was when it was still an NFL stadium - the stadium's shite too despite being basically brand new. Not looking forward to going when the city finally gets it's MLS team tbh) and absolutely ripped off the people who went to attend.

I've got no sympathy for fans who got ripped off to see overseas friendlies tbh. They should all know they're just getting milked for all they can be asked to pay.

You've got to have a bit of sympathy, it's their opportunity to see these guys live.

I'm pretty disgusted in United to be honest, it's a lot of money to be fooled like that.

You ever seen a work colleague outside of work and it just feels awkward? You talk but just don't know what to say to them. Is even worse if they're with somebody.

No, I can talk to anyone and not feel uncomfortable as I'm confident in myself as a person.

A long time ago when I first started in the office side of construction my boss used to throw me into the deep end and make me attend meetings with clients on my own. I'd hate it at first and I quickly learnt blagging it doesn't work so I'd be honest admit I was wet behind the ears and talk football or holidays or whatever to get me through it. I learnt quickly people like people who are genuine and now I know my shit work wise I can mix it on both levels. To cut a long story short my boss was building my character and it's standed me good in life as well.

With the bald eagle pubes, do they dye some pubes so you can tell it's a bald eagle instead of just... another type of eagle?

You would think so wouldn't you?? If they mess it up it could end up looking like a Kestrel..

That's got me thinking maybe they are bird enthuasiasts, one month an Eagle, the next a dove.

Christmas time must surely be a Turkey and a red robin
