  1. Don't know mate. I'm not the one in charge of that side of Liverpool's business.
  2. He would have to replace someone unless we are allowed to play 12 players. He is a great young player and I wish we signed him, but I can totally understand why those in charge decided not to.
  3. I think you need to trust the people in charge and stop talking like you know best.
  4. In place of who? Serious question? To fit him in we would have to drop one of Firmino, Hendo or Keita. Hes a great talent but again, he doesn't walk into our team like he does at Chelsea.
  5. Not at all. We piss all over Chelsea, in every department.
  6. Mad how Chelsea can spend 100's of millions whilst everyone else (apart from City) has to struggle on? Cheats... no other word for it!
  7. At least it will be with the fans present... hopefully
  8. Coutinho would improve Arsenal without any shadow of a doubt.
  9. Isnt it nice seeing Naby become the player we all knew he could be lately? I think he's been great since the restart (and in most games before) but last night I thought he was superb. I think him, Hendo and Fabinho will be our regular starters next season barring injury.
  10. Jordan Henderson is the only English captain ever to lift: • Champions League, • UEFA Super Cup, • FIFA Club World Cup, • Premier League. World class
  11. I said it time and time again when Arsenal fans wanted Wenger gone... be careful what you wish for.
  12. Chelsea aren't a top club. They are an oil funded project.
  13. Got to love Anelka .... "It's an amazing front three," Anelka told the Liverpool Echo. "I love them all, especially Roberto Firmino because he is the key for Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane's success. "Salah and Mane are ranking in the top five best players in the world right now. They have the quality to play for Real Madrid. "But today Liverpool can compete with Real Madrid so they don't need to move. Liverpool is very much the place to be." Anelka returned to England in 2001, joining Liverpool on a short-term loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain. The Reds finished second in the campaign he spent at Anfield and the Frenchman expects them to be perennial contenders under Jurgen Klopp. "Jurgen Klopp is a genius," Anelka added. "I love his work, the way he is with his players and the players he has signed. They're top-class players. "They'll be competitive for many years. Klopp has brought the club back to where it deserves."
  14. Different players but yeah, I'd say Coutinho would be at least on par regarding what he would offer their team. Coutinho would certainly absolutely walk into Arsenal's midfield and their front 3.
  15. He would probably instantly become Arsenal's best player.
  16. it won't need funding. FFP is out of the window since City got away with murder. So yeah, Roman is free to spend as much of his oil money on whoever he wants.
  17. Yeah I think Coutinho would be a great signing for Arsenal and no, I dont think his attitude would cause any problems at all, he has a good attitude. People seem to believe the media that Coutinho 'faked a back injury to get a move to Barca. The truth though is that the back injury was used by both the player and Liverpool once a mega deal had been struck with Barca. Barca obviously didn't want Coutinho heavily involved in games for us after agreeing to pay £144m for him and risk injury blowing the deal. Us too for that matter. Coutinho and Klopp by all accounts are still in contact with each other which I doubt would be the case had Coutinho 'fucked us over'. It was all a smokescreen basically. As for people saying Coutinho is a Barca and Bayern reject... no he's not. His numbers for both clubs are pretty good, Bayerns in particular. Coutinho played in nearly all Bayerns big games. The only reason that move wasn't made permanent was because Bayern simply couldn't afford what Barca wanted for him. Barca only wanted rid because they have signed so many big players for huge transfer fees on huge wages that they had to claw some money back and Coutinho was probably the most dispensable. Yeah, if Arsenal sign Coutinho you will have a very very good player on your hands. It was only about 5 months ago that Klopp went on record saying he would love Coutinho back but that a deal was impossible due to how much it would cost at the time.
  18. Wasn't a dig at anyone mate. Simply stating how he's gone from a player that wildly split opinion to an absolute collosus. He's come so far. How he isnt England captain is a joke to be honest.
  19. Feel really sorry for him. Cant lift the trophy in front of the fans and now cant even play in the game its presented. such bad luck. Wasn't long ago most on here were constantly slating him as not being good enough for a club wanting to win things. He is now one of the most successful captains in the clubs history.
  20. Because if they did that they wouldn't be able to award Utd a penalty every game gifting them a passage into the top four silly.
  21. he gets slagged off on here by Chelsea fans on a daily basis (see the transfer rumour thread), so I'd say he won't be considered anything near a legend.
  22. 8 hours ago, Cicero said: City bound. Napoli using the funds to get both Gabriel and Oshimen from Lille. Good business from them. 6 hours ago, Cicero said: Nah Pep won't aspire for that. Cicero.. Are you a City ITK?
