  1. Ya fuckin phill Neville, Eric cantona, David Beckham, fergie shaggin whopper
  2. Which explains the none spending of hundred gazzilian pounds on players this summer.
  3. Absolutely! Chelsea are actually becoming much more likeable now they have a manager that isn't a prick, who is trying to develop youth, rather than one who is under so much pressure to win trophies.
  4. Because you couldn't buy in the transfer window, so youth for Chelsea will have to do
  5. I'm not saying that letter is totally made out to be Fergie when it's not.... But Fergie didn't send it Why would one of the most hard faced twats in football history suddenly send a soppy letter to an arrogant French bloke? Moreover, why would Fergie include Utd's financial situation in the letter? Utd couldn't afford a top striker? Utd under Fergie were breaking transfer records right, left and centre Load of shite .... "Hi Eric its Fergie, I luv you and would love you to visit me sometime and oh did I mention we cant afford a top striker"? Fuck sake
  6. I agree. Next summer Salah will be 28/29 and we will get another record fee. Next summer is probably the time to sell.
  7. Not really a fan at all of plastic flags being handed out to try and generate an atmosphere, whether that's at Goodison, Anfield, Stamford Bridge or anywhere else. I'm not saying a ground should be banging in every game mind, but in the biggest games a crowd really should be rocking the place. Waving plastic flags handed out by the club just feels really fake to me.
  8. Hmm I dont know? I'd say the league is more competitive now if anything, certainly the standard of football, fitness etc has increased. From the 70's to the 00's, English football was largely dominated by Liverpool and Utd, with Leeds Utd having a decent spell as well. Now you have City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs all competing to a certain degree. I definitely think the standard is largely better now than what it was.
  9. I follow this thread (like any thread on the Prem section) because I get a notification whenever anything is posted, so I read it. I actually cant believe I said something over a year ago and you're now trying to use it against me. Even tagging me in the post I sincerely hope Everton do well in everything they participate in mate.
  10. Why bring me into it? I've not said a word (oh sorry I did a year ago) fuck me I couldn't give a fuck about Everton to be honest, them days are gone mate. Even banter is getting boring.
  11. Jürgen Klopp sets Liverpool record after Southampton win Glenn Price@GlennPrice94 Liverpool's 2-1 victory over Southampton on Saturday saw Jürgen Klopp amass 300 league points in fewer games than any manager in the club's history. Jürgen Klopp sets Liverpool record after Southampton win Liverpool's 2-1 victory over Southampton on Saturday saw Jürgen Klopp amass 300 league points in fewer games than any manager in the club's history. www.liverpoolfc.com The trip to St Mary's was the German's 146th league match in charge of the Reds since taking over in October 2015. The three points claimed after goals from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino helped Klopp surpass the mark previously set by Sir Kenny Dalglish, who reached the threshold in 150 fixtures. Club statistician Ged Rea has broken down the numbers based on three points for a win. Number of games to reach 300 league points Jürgen Klopp – 146 (17/8/19) Kenny Dalglish (first spell) – 150 (14/3/89) Rafael Benitez – 159 (5/10/08) Bob Paisley – 161 (8/4/78) Bill Shankly – 166 (30/11/63) Gerard Houllier – 169 (8/3/03) Tom Watson – 197 (6/9/02) Matt McQueen – 205 (2/1/28) George Kay – 212 (25/8/48) George Patterson – 220 (27/12/32) Quite a remarkable achievement when considering the fact that Klopp had to entirely reconstruct the squad after the shambles Rodgers had left us with, and hadn't even a first summer pre-season to prepare the players when he came in. Congrats Kloppo, long may that continue!
  12. Agree on Kante, he's like an extra man he really is.
  13. Dont you just get the feeling that this is going to be one frustrating season? I certainly do.
  14. Well that link shed absolutely no light on the situation whatsoever
  15. Was just going to edit my post to say there are again conflicting reports. Klopp wont put a timescale on it but as you say, he just said 'a few weeks', which is quite a blanket response to be fair
