Good game but it will feel like a kick in the nut for Liverpool, at 3-1 up you should be seeing the game out however such is where Liverpool are at right now. They need to rebuild that backline, it looks way to vulnerable. I still like Nunez but I don't think he was ready for liverpool and needed a stepping stone club.

This game turned out to be a great game

Have this strange feeling we'll lose tonight. There's nothing out there really that puts us in a precarious position of not finishing 3rd anyways.
It's about pride now, and Klopp will want to go out with a positive ending.

One of those disjointed end of season performances. Need a point in either of our remaining games to finish 7th to finish 6th will be dependent on results this week and our result at OT and Chelsea at the Amex assuming Both win out we will find ish ahead on goal difference

Idris Elba would have been a good choice, it is the type of role that suits him. I think his role as Roland Deschain the gunslinger in Dark Tower was his best role yet.
-
I looked at the stats and it looks like city are doing that thing where they pass the ball around for a long time making the opponents play chase.
-
I like the Bayern kit, looks really basic but effective in the all Red.
I like our kit, its your basic Newcastle kit, I just hope we go with black socks again, I do not like white socks.

GK: Ederson is the likely best in position, best distribution and a good GK all round, Allison is likely the next best and I don't see that position changing much. Vicario, Martinez and Pope all suffer from non-elite distribution.
RB: Trent has been productive all season, Trippier would have likely been this choice but he has missed 8 weeks with injury having played through and injury in December, both Trent and Trippier have elite production at RB, Ben White for positional flexibilityLB: I like Antonee Robinson here, been a consistent performer all season and Udogie has probably been Spurs best and consistent player and the versatility of Gvardiol is indispensable for flexibility.
CB: In pairs Saliba and Gabriel are good calls, I think Schar has had his best season, I also like Branthwaite and can see why he is hyped up for a big move in the summer. People are knocking Van Dijk but he has been solid if not his usual elite self. Van De Venn has had a solid first season in a system that doesn't really value defence that much.
The 6's: Rodri speaks for himself, Rice has been elite and made the big difference Arsenal needed and Bruno Guimaraes has had 2.5 seasons of elite performances. Douglas Luiz and Mainoo would be my outsiders
The 8's: I like Connor Gallagher and Alexis Mac Allister here, Eze, Joelinton, McGinn outsiders all in with mentions, Eze only getting 2000 minutes may hurt him here.
10's: Palmer, Foden, Odegaard nobody else is close.
RW: Salah, liverpool without him are just not the same, 25/14 in a year where he is supposed to be washed up is still God tier, Saka is probably the more fashionable name if Arsenal do go on to win it and Jarrod Bowen is my outsider, I will give a shout out to Tavernier, Neto and Olise as outsiders
LW: Gordon, he is only the third Newcastle player to hit double digits in goals and assists, he has scored against all top 6 clubs this season and he leads the league in goals directly from a successful 1 on 1 dribble. Massive break out season. Doku, Garnacho, Kluivert and Son as outsiders
CF: Haaland is probably the easiest option though I would have Watkins as the next best, outsiders; Isak, Solanke, Havertz, Ferguson and Matata and
Timo Werner -
It is strange that Bruno Guimaraes and Anthony Gordon didnt get a nomination

Big week ahead, the added incentive is finishing ahead of man united which will be a minor landmark.
I read somewhere that if you take form from mid November chelsea would be second, I cant believe that but if true it may be the start of 1BN starting to repay itself, Mudryk is still crap though.
-
Why not a Graeme Potter or try poaching Iraola, Julien Laportegui is about as boring as it gets, he will be gone by November
-
We wanted him 2.5 years ago when he was in the championship, so I think there is carry over.
I see him best filling at LB moving Dan Burn back to CB, he is experienced enough to help alleviate the pressure on Lewis Hall however Kelly has an injury history which may require a better split of time between him and Hall which is best for us as I think Hall is a terrific player.
While impressive that we have made moves for Tosin and Kelly I think they should not detract us from signing a high level CB like Diamande. We need to cut out the goals we concede, we have already conceded 22 more than last season while scoring around 18 more than last season. Links to Olise and Neto are nice but scoring goals isnt the major problem needing fixing..
Last season we collected 32 points on the road, had a steely resilience that got us points even if we didnt look pretty, I want to get that same resilience back next season and drop these absolute white flag surrenders away from home.

very underwhelming

Arsenal must be licking their lips at playing Yanited this weekend
-
Hoping the Palace boys help us out and beat Yanited.
We control our own destiny now and we need to be looking to winning out the season. It was incredible to see Pope and Joelinton back which is big for us in the run in.
I'm not sure why Lewis hall was not played more, he has been very good, I'm not sure on the reason why we waited so long to play him.

Hopefully one day countries that claim to be good aren't palling up with horror show leaders of countries like that of Saudi Arabia & Israel. Maybe those countries that claim to be good could start off by not having horror show leaders themselves and by no longer arming these psychos in their wars... Those dickhead leaders in Saudi are also trying to clamp down on criticism of Israel. Evil protecting evil.
And your last sentence applies to every religion when just judging by the book. Doing a whole "this religion doesn't, but the ones I identify with does" isn't the logic that works with anyone that isn't trying to feed their bigotry.
People, regardless of being religious or not, regardless of which religion they follow, can be progressive/conservative based more on how they've been brought, what they've learnt and who they've interacted with in their life. This is something that humans with at least an ounce of awareness know.
Also funny that you suddenly care about being progressive... Obviously you're not just playing that up to justify your bigotry. Hopefully you do care about unfair punishment of activists though and are against the mistreatment of the activists against Israel's genocide.
Iraq has just made homosexuality and transgenderism illegal and punishable by imprisonment. We keep seeing flagrant human rights abuses in a region that simply care about western liberties.
In 2020 turkey aided Al Bashir kill Kurdish opposition to Al Bashir, because Istanbul branded the Syrian Democratic Movement a terrorist group, this is while turkey actively supports ethnic cleansing of Armenians.
Of course human rights abuses only become an issue when Israel is involved and the reason the power nations dont challenge each other is because if one goes down they will open the dirty laundry of others. If israel is persecuted the so must russia, the US, UK, Iran, Saudi, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Palestine, iraq, syria, china, north Korea, Myanmar, ukraine and France.
Not to sound cliche but war never changes and will never change no matter how much you try make rules.
The symptoms of the turmoil seen to be the only thing people attach virtue to without looking at causes and solutions. Ariel Sheron ceded Gaza to the PA under the intention of sustainable peace, since then attacks on israel have gone from decades apart to yearly, in that time has there ever been any semblance of fundamental human rights in palastine? The answer is no, so if they treat their own badly then what prospect is their for peace unless there is a fundamental shift in ideology of Palastinians.

Arsenal need to win out and hope city drop points, which is not looking great and between man united or Spurs, relying on either team is not a good way to hedge bets, man united are more capable of stunting arsenal than Spurs are of City, this is not the Conte first season Spurs that were resilient, this spurs team is more open than a porn star.

Dull game, 0-0. End of season stuff.
Saw the breakdown of teams with the most injured player time out, you were behind us in second, Brentford have had a torrid time this season with players missing.

Anthony Taylor is an absolute prized chop, in the end a dominant 1-4 win setting up a good run in. Spurs have two tough games to come, we have Man United soon so 5th is possible.

Flipping between Fallout 4 modded to New Vegas style and using the series mods to add Vault 33 gear, the tranquiliser gun and all the NV weapons instead of FO4.
I have also finished Cyber Punk 2077

It is an interesting move, a premier league proven player at a good age.
