  1. I think the pace of the series should have been slower and focused a bit more or building characters and plot, the rushed nature led to it feeling like a bit of speed run.

It is not a complete butchering of a franchise so i have hope in subsequent series turning it into something appealing but I stand by initial assessment that there were some holes.

Did you ever play Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator back in the day? It was like their regular flight sim games, but WW2 in Europe. I fucking loved that game - I'd love something modern day that's similar to that.

I had Microsoft combat flight sims but they were not as good as Jane's WW2 fighters which was more a simulator and had better graphics and selection, the attention to detail was also on point.

Janes were also one of the first games to have a 3D land, MS used pixelation blotching to appear like land but it was in reality flat.

  3. I wouldn't say City have it in the bag, they can obviously have a whoopsy somewhere, however I think they know how to finish a job

I still think the premier League is the best league in the world and this season is proof of it, with intense competition at all parts of the league table.

I think the nail was hit, Arsenal lack a top level center forward and Liverpool maybe a bit light at the back.

  4. It does look spectacular,  like a very expensive 5th of November.

Tel Aviv was so worried about the Iranian attack,  thousands of people were still protesting on the streets.   For me I consider that reckless negligence with ones own life but unlike,  Canada, England, Scotland and Iran you can still protest against your government in the face of an attack and not be arrested.

Not many stand out candidates around for too many vacancies.

Alonso could yet be a 1 season wonder.

Tuchel has looked to me for a while like he has an external desire to be Klopp, with an inner Roy Keane.

Whether it's Man United, Liverpool, Chelsea, or all 3 appointing a new manager this summer, it could be on who takes the best gamble. For many Emery had failed in England. Not sure many saw Big Ange as an obvious Premier League candidate. Bournemouth were criticised. The Wolves manager abandoned a sinking ship. Was Eddie Howe a clear & obvious choice?

Given the lack of obvious big names, and the gambles that have, to an extent, paid off over recent seasons, I think it would be football snobbery to entirely rule out a Southgate, or a Roberto Martinez, or whoever seems like a currently insufficient name.

I would say it is not so much Ten Hag as it is a disastrous recruitment policy adopted by Man United.   When you sign a near 33 year old for 65m,  burn him out now looks like a terrible investment to have made.    You can literally throw any man united signing in the "would anyone else sign this guy" board.  Outside of Rasmus Hoijlund have any man united recent signings really been good?

I agree they've been at loggerheads for years but I think the timing last week with everything that's going on was on the stupid side.  I'm no expert on Iran if being honest but I have read up a bit on the Shah getting overthrown. I've seen videos of Iran under the Shah and the beaches were full. You got to see so many peoples feet.

Now I know why you go to the beach 😜

Israel crying about Iran being a threat to global peace. Can't make this up. All of a sudden they want the UN to step in. Thought the UN was Hamas...? Wouldn't be a bad idea if they did finally show they're competent and not completely pointless though. Would the better than the US stepping in.

Iran or the IRGC is a threat to peace much like that sociopath in Russia is.

Who exactly funds the means for Hamas and Hezbollah to threaten Israel?

Meanwhile, I now have to worry about if Israel’s response to this drone attack means my nan might have bombs drop on her.

Thanks a lot Khamenei - you’ve got first hand evidence from your proxies on how Israel fights wars and you want to bring that to Iran’s doorstep? Absolute shithead, as if starving the country to funnel all that oil money on this stupid war was bad enough. Now he wants to risk a war with the US and Israel.

Guess he’s really betting on a war being a distraction from people taking to the streets demanding basic human rights again.

Hope your nan is safe, I think she will be safe as I don't think Israel would target Iran civilians Center's due to the support Iranians have for Isreal, I can see strategic targets hit, fuel depots, refineries, weapons factories etc

  9. Jordan reported wayward strikes in Jordan killing civilians, well done Iran.  In the Negev a Bedouin child was injured

There is no better image than Israeli air defences intercepting missles over the dome of the rock.   I would not be surprised if some palastinians die as a result of Iranian wayward strikes.

Apparently Hamas want to sign a truce, then hours later Iran goes full mental breakdown.
